I believe in the Rapture … and I believe the Scriptures teach that ALL BELIVERS SHOULD; so that is my litmus test for Fellowship. If someone is claiming to be a Christian, and they refuse to recognize what Scripture - and specifically Yeshua taught - there is no point to my spending time with them.
Yeshua also taught us not be be unequally yoked.
Spending quality time with people who claim to be what they are not, is a clear indication of being unequally yoked.
I can be friendly with them; but it would be pointless to fellowship with them.
When I ask for prayer - I want someone praying for me that believes as I believe.
When I discuss the holy writ - I want to delve deep into the fount of knowledge with people who understand Elohim's Word … and Yeshua's position in it.
When I think on-, and talk about, the End Times - I want to know that we are on the same Page spiritually: Team cohesiveness is important. Direction is paramount.
We are living in dangerous times for Christians.
We are living in exciting times for Christians.
I don't want to be spinning my wheels, wasting time with people who want to be left behind to play God … instead of welcoming the Special Event that will have them meeting God on the best terms, at the best time, for the best reasons.
WHY would ANYONE want to ignore the "Blessed Event" event in the clouds, and stay behind to go through Hell on Earth for 7 years?
