THIS needs to be implemented again.
Other religions can be taught and kept AT HOME … BUT the BIBLE, on WHICH AMERICA WAS FOUNDED … NEEDS TO BE TAUGHT again IN SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, AND UNIVERSITIES.
I remember, as a child aged 5 through 8 years old, starting my school days with the Pledge of Allegiance, then about 15 minutes of a Bible passage & prayer before studies.
It was wonderful.
People were kind to each other.
Kids got along - they were helpful and gentle. Generosity was the theme of the Day.
Teenager's parked their trucks in the parking lots WITH GUN RACKS HOLDING VISIBLE RIFLES - and nobody went home in a body bag.
Males KNEW they WERE males: and they were protective of the females in their classes, on school grounds, and in the communities. They treated females with courtesy and wisdom … knowing that there may come a time the female strength & input may be called into play.
Females KNEW they WERE females - and they reveled in that knowledge; they also knew they could hold their own when push came to shove and their added strength may be needed.
Everyone protected the children, because the children were the future.
NO ONE was confused about the role of schooling - or the roles of gender.
It was a wonderful time to be alive in America.
When people today ask me what I miss the most, I always say, "What I miss most is how Americans used to behave in America."
BRING THE BIBLE BACK INTO THE PUBLIC SQUARE and there will be peace, again.

An alleged cannibal incarcerated by federal agents attempted to eat himself while on a deportation flight, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem claimed during a Tuesday press conference.
Speaking with reporters during a roundtable that included President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Noem said the bizarre incident was relayed to her by U.S. Marshals working with ICE. The purpose of the roundtable was to discuss the new "Alligator Alcatraz" illegal immigrant detainment facility in Florida.
While commenting on the need for increased deportations of dangerous illegals, Noem claimed that an alleged cannibal attempted to eat himself while detained, inflicting wounds on him that necessitated immediate medical attention.
Noem said the incident illustrates how former President Joe Biden "let the worst of the worst come in here."
"The other day, I was talking to some marshals who have been partnering with ICE. They said that they had detained a cannibal and put him on a plane to take him home. And while they had him in his seat, he started to eat himself, and they had to get him off and get him medical attention," said the secretary.
"These are the kind of deranged individuals that are on our streets in America that we're trying to target and get out of our country because they are so deranged they don’t belong here," Noem went on. "They shouldn't be walking the streets with our children, and they shouldn't be living in the communities with our families who just want to… raise their children to grow up and get a job, and to live the American dream."
"We are going after murderers and rapists and traffickers and drug dealers and getting them off the streets and getting them out of this country," she said.
Noem thanked law enforcement and military personnel for helping remove dangerous criminals from the U.S., and urged more governors to follow DeSantis’ lead in partnering with the federal government on immigration enforcement.
"I hope my phone rings off the hook from governors calling and saying, ‘How can we do what Florida just did? How can we do exactly what they did?'" she said.
According to Noem, the Florida illegal immigrant detainment center — "Alligator Alcatraz" — is a "state-of-the-art facility" that will have 3,000 beds and "will allow us to bring individuals across the country that we are bringing in and incarcerating for violating our laws and immediately get them out of the country as soon as we possibly can."
"It's exactly what we need to be perpetuating in other states," added Noem.
DHS, ICE and the U.S. Marshals did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on the incident.

A federal judge on Wednesday allowed the deportation of the family of Mohamed Sabry Soliman, the man accused of firebombing a solidarity walk for Israeli hostages, to move forward, tossing another court's order that had paused the family's removal.
Judge Orlando Garcia of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas dismissed the family's legal challenge to their deportation, finding that the Trump administration had followed standard procedures and that the federal court "lacks jurisdiction to grant Petitioners the relief they seek."
The family had sued to prevent expedited removal proceedings, something the government said it was not pursuing. The Trump administration argued the family was "placed into ordinary removal proceedings." The judge ruled that because the removal proceedings were not the expedited form the family had sued to prevent, the case was moot. Garcia blamed the White House's social media posts for the confusion over the kind of removal proceeding the family faced.
"The confusion over whether Petitioners were being subjected to expedited removal was incited by social media posts issued by the White House on June 3, 2025—the day Petitioners were taken into custody by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers," the judge's order said.
The confusion seemed to come from a pair of social media posts from the White House, including one that claimed the family was "in ICE custody for expedited removal" and could be "deported as early as tonight." The other post said, "Six One-Way Tickets for Mohamed’s Wife and Five Kids" and a "Final Boarding Call Coming Soon."
Garcia ordered the case closed, noting the Immigration and Nationality Act "precludes judicial review" of the claims the family raised. The order ends a block first issued last month that prevented Soliman's wife and five children from being removed from the country.
Soliman and his family are Egyptian nationals who have been in the United States illegally for years, according to DHS officials. Soliman arrived in the U.S. in August 2022, but his work authorization and tourist visa have both expired.
Soliman has been charged with various crimes related to the June 1 attack, deemed by the FBI as a "targeted terror attack.” The charges levied against Soliman include 12 federal hate crime charges and dozens of state charges, including two counts of first-degree murder.
The June terrorist attack on the solidarity march in Colorado for Israeli hostages captured by Hamas led to multiple injuries among the marchers and the death of Karen Diamond, 82.

The U.S. House of Representatives recently passed the "No Tax Dollars for Terrorists Act", a bill aimed at preventing U.S. funds from falling into the hands of the Taliban. This legislation, introduced by Congressman Tim Burchett, requires the Department of State to develop and implement a strategy to discourage foreign countries and NGOs from providing financial or material support to the Taliban. The bill also mandates reports on U.S.-funded aid programs in Afghanistan, including how the State Department prevents the Taliban from accessing cash assistance.
The bill's passage comes in response to concerns that U.S. aid, including cash shipments to Afghanistan, may be diverted to the Taliban. The bill specifically targets the Taliban's access to funds and requires the State Department to report on countries and organizations providing support to the Taliban. It also calls for a report on the Afghan Fund, including Taliban influence over Da Afghanistan Bank.
The bill now moves to the Senate for consideration. If passed by the Senate and signed into law, it would significantly impact how the U.S. provides aid to Afghanistan and could potentially lead to sanctions against those who support the Taliban.

I don't need to replace my glasses this year, praise the Lord 👏 … but I do need to have a tooth taken care of; and I started that process this afternoon 👍
I would normally go to the dentist I have been seeing for the past 3 decades - but, Kelso is a good 2 hours away: and Seaview is mere minutes down the peninsula highway. So, I chose to visit a new dentist 🤞, this afternoon.

I got relatively good news concerning the tooth that concerns me: it does need attention, but there is a good chance it can be satisfactorily salvaged 😁 without a pricey cap that will eventually fall off … and without months of in-&-out office visits 👏
I have a scheduled appointment on the 22nd, to get that loose end tied up.
Exiting the dental building, and climbing into Betsy, Holland pointed across the street and said, "Look at that interesting VW Camper: I've never seen anything like it, before." We both thought it was pretty cool, as well as interesting; so, we got closer to it for a picture - and I researched it online when we got home 🧐💻
What I learned while tying up that loose end, was interesting:
Then, I thanked my friends who had prayed me through my dental visit (I really hate dental visits, but I'm learning to relax while in the torture chair - prayer definitely helps) ❤️🙏😘
And I wrapped up the evening by relaxing while watching a black & white noir movie - and continuing my knitting project: I should have it completed in a few days.
