AI STEALING CORPORATE MONIES

NOT OKAY 😡

The government cannot "force" 😤 people to give up their property; which includes income!

I seriously doubt that ["69%"] of "Americans" support government reaching into their pockets and ripping them off to support low-life neighbors.

SOCIALISM 🤡 COMMUNISM 😈 NAZISM 👺 & ISLAMISM 👹 TAKES WHAT IS NOT THEIRS AND ENSLAVES 😭 PEOPLE 🤬

{{Majority of US workers support an AI wealth fund as tech layoffs surge, survey finds

~Story by Justina Lee

* Sixty-nine percent of Americans now support "forcing" AI firms to transfer 50% of their stock to a public sovereign wealth fund, according to a survey by research firm Verasight.

* The rising number of tech layoffs in the U.S. has left many workers frustrated and worried over job security.

* Sovereign wealth funds can serve in multiple roles when it comes to AI, but also face challenges managing between the public good and the global race to build AI capabilities.

A majority of U.S. employees now want to hold corporations more accountable via an AI sovereign wealth fund, amid dissatisfaction over a growing number of tech layoffs despite higher overall corporate profits, according to a recent poll.

The national survey of 1,690 adults by research firm Verasight, which was carried out in June and published earlier this month, suggests that 69% of Americans now support "forcing" AI firms to transfer 50% of their stock to a public sovereign wealth fund.

"In the eyes of the public, AI Sovereign funds are seen as a tool to distribute the gains from the AI industry back to broader society," said Benjamin Leff, chief executive officer of Verasight.

In June, Senator Bernie Sanders proposed the American AI Sovereign Wealth Fund Act which, if passed, would give the public a 50% stake in the largest AI companies in the U.S.

"It would guarantee that the economic benefits generated by AI are used to improve the lives of all of us — not simply to make the richest people in the world even richer," Sanders said in a statement last month.

"The future of AI and the fate of humanity must not be decided behind closed doors in Silicon Valley by billionaires seeking to maximize their power and profit," Sanders said.

The rising number of tech layoffs in the U.S. have left many workers frustrated and worried over job security, as corporations continue to ramp up capital expenditure for AI expansion.

Goldman Sachs Senior Global Economist Joseph Briggs estimates that more than 9% of the labor force, or around 15 million workers, could lose their jobs during a 10-year AI transition period, the bank said in a report published last month.

This "would be the type of automation and reallocation shock that we saw in the late '90s and early 2000s and in other periods of significant technological change," Briggs said.

"But [Briggs] believes these losses will prove temporary owing to his expectation that AI will create many new jobs over the long term even as it destroys existing ones," the Goldman Sachs report says.

Sovereign wealth funds can serve in multiple roles when it comes to AI. They can lead development of AI at a national level by funding capital-intensive AI infrastructure, take equity stakes in AI companies and capture a share of AI-driven economic gains for the public treasury, according to research firm Windfall Trust.

However, sovereign wealth funds could also face challenges in managing between the public good and the global race to build AI capabilities.

"There is also a tension between the financial mandate (maximize returns for citizens) and the strategic mandate (build national AI capacity, maintain influence over frontier systems), since these objectives can conflict when the best financial investment is a foreign AI company rather than a domestic one," Windfall Trust added.

SOCIALISM-COMMUNISM REALITIES

~Daniil Kleyman; July 7th, 2026

I made a post yesterday about socialism and naturally every highly educated progressive, mostly from California (shocker) showed up to tell me that I don’t know what real socialism or communism is. First of all, I really don’t know where we would be without all of you college educated geniuses that have never left America or lived anywhere else. Thank you all for your wisdom. That third tier community college degree from San Bernardino is really paying off for you.

While I may not have the benefit of your incredible educations (actually I do) what I do have the benefit of is having actually lived under communism for close to 12 years. I’ve experienced the “warmth of collectivism”.

As a 10 year-old, I regularly stood in lines for 4 to 5 hours to govt owned grocery stores simply waiting for a food truck to arrive so they could stock the fully empty shelves with bread and milk. I am talking 1920-s Great Depression style food lines, in the dead of winter, freezing my balls off.

The picture you see here is of a food ration card issued to my mother and food coupons which we had to exchange along with money for food at these incredible government owned grocery stores. (Yes I saved these when we came here in 1992)

I've lived in crappy government built housing tenements because that's literally all that was available as no private enterprise existed to build/offer alternatives.

I've experienced a society that was in decay because, despite promises of equality and a good standard of living, all the wealth and power was amassed at the top by communist party leaders and their cronies. (Yes - in this way communism is no different than capitalism in that power still gets accumulated at the top. Just by different means).

So maybe before you start lecturing others about what socialism really is or being arrogant enough to think that even though it’s failed every single time it’s ever been tried in real life…. It can work this time because you are smarter and it “just hasn’t been done correctly” maybe listen to the people who have actually experienced it first hand. I’m talking real socialism/communism. Not the fake shit from Scandinavia.

Oh and I don't want to hear anything about how socialism isn't same as communism blah blah blah. Yes - they're the same thing. Even your idol marx, didn't hold any real distinction between the two.

A RESPONSE TO NY SOCIALIST COUP

~Dutch Valkema; July 3rd, 2026

You sat behind George Washington’s desk, albeit from the wrong side because Communists don’t know the working end of ANYTHING - today, surrounded by newly naturalized citizens, and delivered a speech so riddled with irony and historical amnesia that it demands a full response.

Let’s start with the overarching irony: You are a self‑proclaimed socialist who fled Uganda and was welcomed into America’s arms. You now enjoy the freedom, security, and prosperity that only this capitalist republic provides - and you use that platform to denounce the very system that saved you. You are a living testament to America’s generosity, yet you repay it with revolutionary contempt. That is not courage. That is ingratitude dressed as righteousness.

Now, to your statements:

On your assault on American greatness: You decried “oligarchs” and “trillionaires” while accepting a salary funded by New York’s capitalist engine. You sneer at wealth, yet every socialist regime in history: from the Soviet gulags to Venezuela’s collapsed hospitals, began with that same grievance and ended with breadlines, secret police, and a ruling class far more brutal than any CEO. You call for “equity.” History calls that a prelude to famine. America’s 250 years have lifted more people out of poverty than any system on earth, not because we are perfect, but because we embrace freedom, not coercion.

On your lecture about borders and law:

You called ICE enforcement “terror.” The real terror is socialist states that seal their borders to keep their own people in. You weep for those who enter unlawfully, but say nothing of the millions who wait legally and who respect our sovereignty. Your open‑border ideology is not compassion; it is a deliberate strategy to dilute citizenship, because citizenship is the only thing standing between your ideology and total power. You know that. That is why you attack it.

On your distortion of patriotism:

You said patriotism is “righteous dissent.” No... dissent is a right, not a virtue unto itself. Patriotism is loyalty to the constitutional order that protects that dissent. You are not loyal. You mock the flag while swearing oaths on it. You denounce the military while enjoying the security it provides. That is the calculated cynicism of every authoritarian‑in‑waiting.

On your historical audacity:

You invoked Washington: a flawed man, yes, but one who rejected monarchy and established the peaceful transfer of power. Contrast that with your ideological heroes: Lenin, Mao, and Castro: men who murdered tens of millions in the name of “the people.” You sit in Washington’s chair and lecture us on moral failure? The only failure is your inability to see that America’s sins are exceptions to its principles, whereas socialism’s atrocities are the inevitable products of its principles.

On this 250th anniversary:

You want to “take measure.” Let’s take measure of you. You have called to defund police, embraced allies who praise dictators, and normalized the abnormal. You make tyranny sound like empathy. You sell collectivism as community, when in truth it is the erasure of the individual... the very soul of American liberty.

You are not a reformer. You are a carrier of a 150‑year‑old plague that has killed over 100 million people. You are not a patriot; you are a revolutionary using municipal office as a staging ground for subversion. And the final irony? You are a guest in this house: a house built by free hands, not state planners. You are welcome to stay, but you are not welcome to burn it down.

Step away from Washington’s desk. You haven’t earned the right to sit in his chair. And to every single American: do not appease this man. Remember him...because history remembers what happens when we ignore the socialist with a smile.

Happy 250th, America. You must guard your freedom like your ancestors did, because people like Mamdani are counting on you to forget it.

MOD CROCHET SC-BAR ST STANDARD BIBLE COVER~Pattern; Castle Rock-WA

MOD Crochet Sc-Bar St Standard Bible Cover; Castle Rock-WA

I designed this cover to fit a standard Bible size 9-1/2 in. L x 6-1/4 in. W

My husband liked the covers I designed and crafted for the Clive Cussler paperback novels, that he asked me to make a cover for his Bible; so, I made one in his favorite colors - red & black:

Materials: Worsted Yarn, MC & CC in colors of choice; small amount of scrap yarn for a length of marker yarn; Sock Yarn, small amount in matching color (or contrast color if desired) #I-9 & #0 hook aluminum crochet hooks; scissors; tapestry needle; trim of choice (if trim is desired)

Terms Used:

BK LP = back loop

CC = contrast color

ch = chain

EA = each

EO = end off

MC = main color

rem'g = remaining

rpt = repeat

RS = right side

r = row

sc = single crochet

st = stitch

T = turn

WS = wrong side

x = repeat

#I'm sorry about the pictures … red yarn sts, does not show well in pictures.

With MC yarn & crochet hook, make a chain of 72

Row 1: T & sc in 12 ch, place marker yarn, sc in next 48 ch, place marker yarn, sc in rem'g 12 sc; ch 1 & T

Row 2: Sc in 12 ch, place marker yarn, sc in next 48 ch, place marker yarn, sc in rem'g 12 sc; ch 1 & T

Row 3: Sc in 12 st, move marker end up, sc in BK LP of next 48 ch, move marker end up, sc in rem'g 12 sc; ch 1 & T

Back (WS) view.
Front (RS) view.

Row 4: Sc in 12 ch, place marker yarn, sc in next 48 ch, place marker yarn, sc in rem'g 12 sc; ch 1 & T

Row 5: Sc in 12 st, move marker end up, sc in BK LP of next 48 ch, move marker end up, sc in rem'g 12 sc; ch 1 & T

Rpt r's 4 & 5 for 9-1/2 inches; checking now and then for length (every Bible is sized differently, even if quoted measurements are the same) & adding trim, if desired:

Rpt r's 4 & 5 for pattern.
Sl st bottom edge trim, between rows 3 & 4, if desired.
Check progress now and then, for length.
Sl st trim top edge trim, 1-inch from top, if desired.

EO leaving a length of yarn for sewing flap to cover.

Finishing: With RS facing, fold 12 sts of the flap backward & whipstitch EA end closed - weave in loose ends. Turn flap inward to make a pocket to slip cover edge into.

Rpt with other cover flap, in same manner.

Page Marker: With #0 hook & sock yarn; attach yarn in center top of Book Cover, & make a ch of chosen length - attach trim (or not) & back chain to beginning ch. EO and weave in loose ends.

Easy-peasy 😁👌

Enjoy 📖!
