This afternoon, we escaped the stale, stuffy air inside Independence, and claimed independence as we went for a short drive to breathe fresh air into our lungs, and enjoy time out of house 👩❤️💋👨

While Holland ducked into the Pioneer Market & Deli to buy a Red Bull & 2 BBQ Burrito's, I checked my phone's newsfeed to see what headlines were burning up the airwaves, today. Most of it was annoying 😑 - but 1 headline made me so angry that I took serious action 😳😡
I also answered a text that I had missed the other day:
We have managed, by the grace of Yeshua, to keep ourselves alive and thriving 🙏; despite Mother Nature's tempestuous attempts to run the Grim Reaper to our door.

While we munched our burrito's we noticed a cabin-cruiser that tickled our funny bones … and I told Holland about the headline that seriously peeved me:

It seems that the wilson sisters of the rock band Heart, have lost their heart to the lunatic fringe of society. I find it ironically humorous, and angering, that two cranky old white women trying desperately to hang onto a lost youth (and fighting amongst themselves; as well as the greater American public) would make snarky remarks about [the cranky old rich white man, Donald Trump]: maybe they are more than a bit jealous of his popularity with the masses (which includes a vast majority of the younger generation, who voted for him), as well as his wealth - which they fail to achieve because of their lunatic fringe remarks. They are "embarrassed to be Americans"? Then they can go back to canada, where their poison, waspish tongues, will be welcomed.
They are embarrassing themselves, just like all the other demonrats are embarrassing themselves, with their rabid TDS.
So, I dug out my CD holder, and started thumbing through it. Holland noticed what I was doing, and remembering what I told him a few minutes ago about the wilson sisters ridiculousness, he asked, "Looking for Heart?" I nodded. He added, "Are you going to trash it?" I said, "Yep. I don't hang onto garbage. I have listened to this band since I was in the 8th Grade. Bob got used to hearing it. My children and grandchildren grew up listening to it. But I'm done with them - I am done giving American haters space in my head … and taking up space in my CD holder."
And just like that, the wilson trash became trash.
Holland liked that CD, too. But it's lost it's appeal with their {celebrity status} nonsense. They are entertainers - selling their [goods], just like other entertainers. Their personal opinions do not move anyone … their music did; someone else with raspy vocals and a snappy guitar riff, can just as easily take their place in my head space - they aren't that special.
I refuse to allow the lunatic demonrat party nazi tactics infringe on my peace of mind, or the 'breaking news' headlines suck me into the whirlpool of political upheaval.
The lunatic fringe has lost touch with reality; American's will NEVER ALLOW socialist & communist tyranny to take root here; if people hate America and are embarrassed to live here … THEY CAN LEAVE - but they cannot brow beat us into submission. They cannot destroy America.
And my husband, bless him, knew just how to soothe this gray-haired red head's temper 😘
A quick stop at the Pastry Shop, for soothing relaxation later on.
Then, Betsy was turned towards the beach; and what a slide-show of action we got there!
We counted 6 eagles, at various stages of maturity, trolling the incoming tide for tasty tidbits rolling in on the waves.
And 6 horses hoofing it up the beach to Leadbetter Point, as far as they could go with the incoming tide rolling in:
