THERE IS A SEASON; Quartzsite-AZ

This morning, while drinking my coffee - and waiting for Holland to get back from his haircut appointment … I went over some earlier Blog entries (as I do, periodically); and 3 past posts stood out, for today's date - years ago ;-)

The first that caught my attention, and mentally took me back to that time, was the Revival period at Oak Point, in Longview-WA:

I had spoken a message a few days earlier; and the night following, Elohim had opened my heart's eye to view Holland as he had been viewing me for 18 months, ever since I started regularly attending fellowship there. It was a shocking and totally unexpected happenstance for me, but I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that my life was going to be charting a new course.

But, Holland was a Board Member at the fellowship I was now cutting ties with. His position, and this night's blow-out was a complication in the direction Elohim was leading my Life. Holland's contact number was one of the numbers I angrily deleted in my break with the Oak Point fellowship.

And, of course … when Elohim is directing your Life … your chosen course of direction will be rerouted to bring about His purpose in your Life.

And that is what happened in the Fall of 2022.

I had deleted Oak Point contact numbers - but no one had deleted my contact number … so, several people called me during the following days: when Holland called, he was hurt that I had deleted his number, but relieved and encouraged in his courting pursuits, when I told him why ;-)

Things with Mr. Complication have been complicated from the get-go.

By October 15th, 2023 … Holland and I had been married 10 months, and pitched our living digs on a patch of the Sonoran Desert, in AZ

This year, today, we are planning on charting a different course for our future: same Plan … hoping for a downsized camper.

Holland came home sheared (he did get his haircut, and I do miss his curls), bearing gifts; and is right now doing research on Ghost Towns we hope to visit :-D

Iron! Supper tomorrow - and another, in the freezer ;-)

And I dug up a flavored Chapstick to ease my dried lips (environment change with both of us); and intermediately cooked supper, and finished seaming the preemie socks I worked up last night …

Earlier, I dug through my makeup cache & found a Chapstick, seasonably themed: gotta keep the seasons straight in a seasonless atmosphere :-D
