RABBITS, TULIPS, THAI SUPPER; Ocean Park-WA

It's raining, now.

But earlier today, when my husband treated me to a take-out Thai Supper box, it was a clear Spring Day:

RUSSIA IS TOO CLOSE TO AMERICA; Ocean Park-WA

Perhaps kids are not taught as much geography and history as I was growing up …

This probably needs to be shared to remind us all.

For those who think Russia is "all the way on the other side of the world" - reconsider.

Russia is only only 53 miles off American shores at the Bering Strait’s narrowest point.

That is comparable to me driving to Rosburg-WA from Ocean Park-WA. Or to South Bend-WA from Ocean Park-WA; or Gearhart-OR from to Ocean Park-WA.

Roughly an hour away.

WISHING FOR MAY/HOPING FOR SUNSHINE; Ocean Park-WA

Both of us woke up this morning sneezing, and groaning with sinus headaches: Holland drank coffee ☕ … I brewed a cup of tea ☕. My stomach is so full of sinus drainage that coffee would not have been a good idea.

While we drank our warming beverages and shook the morning cobwebs from our thoughts; I checked my FB Page for PM's - then cruised over to my Blog to see what what happening over there. I answered a post notification from Paula … and saw that 2 Blogs had featured a few of my design patterns:

As I was shutting my laptop down, Holland suggested we get out of the house for some fresh air - I readily agreed. We watched the waves (and birds) for about half an hour; then came back home.

I knew I would be in no shape 🤮 to attend Becky's Celebration of Life - so, I jetted a text off to Ramona … only to find that it had come and gone: and I had missed it.

I don't even know what day of the week it is, anymore …

I already missed it - and wasn't even aware; this sinus headache is debilitating.

It was on the 26th - today is the 28th 😳

While my poor body tries to beat back the effects of allergy season, I'm sleeping so much that I don't know what day it is, what time it is - or if I'm even waking up in the same day's time that I slipped off to dreamland in 🛌💤🙄

Despite dealing with allergies, Holland & I both worked on things that needed attention: Holland worked on some things pertaining to Independence, that needed attention - and I worked on a pair of slippers that will be going to Longview with Holland when he drives there, again.

Slippers; I still have to stitch them together; Holland has  been busy fixing things, & researching ways to make life on the road easier.

I'll be glad when May arrives.

Hopefully the warmth of steady 🌞, will arrive, also.
