Holland was chasing an ambulance this morning (locally tracking down one of his YouTube videos fixations) … so, I took my planned walk around my immediate area :-D

I've noticed that my feet and ankles are puffing up - not grotesquely, but enough to get my attention.

I don't like it.

It makes me nervous; Bob's uncontrollable edema eventually killed him (it was a fallout from the primary killing situation).

It is somewhat controllable … if it doesn't spiral out of control; I'm working on this theory.

These things I know for sure: I am an older person. I do have a heart arrhythmia. I am overweight (thanks to my new husband's good cooking; I'm taking back the kitchen, for both our health sakes); and there are steroids in my asthma inhaler (since becoming allergic to it while in Woodland-WA, I have stopped using it - weather I live or die now, is in Elohim's control).

I am doing what I can … with what I have to work with.


Time will be the deciding factor.

Since marrying Holland, I've lived a sedentary life … and for the first time in my life am getting cellulite & spider veins on my upper legs, and my upper arms are getting flabby :-(

Until we married I was extremely active, physically. I walked several miles a day (in 2022, my doctor checked me at the 8 mile/day point, and cut me back to 1 or 2 miles, daily); I lifted weight every day; I did stretching exercises daily (at home, or with a class in another town): my body was toned and fit.

All my life, I have been toned and fit.

I do not enjoy this body that is failing me, today.

Holland sits a lot; no matter if we are on the road, or set up somewhere - and I have been sitting, with him; and knowing now my health issues, he doesn't like me to be walking alone.

But, I have got to get moving again: neither a walker … or the Grim Reaper, are on my immediate radar for my Life.

Here, I can get outdoors and walk: in Yuma, I will also track down an exercise gym and get busy there, too: I am not going to leave this planet as a fat, old woman swollen because of inactivity!

I do not allow my physical limitations to limit my Life activities; or lifespan expectations; I've been lax in that mentality so Holland has peace of mind … but, now I have to focus on my peace of mind and physical health.

Double this reading … I only used this feature on the 2nd lap … my heart rate was in the {safe} zone: I'll be walking these 2 laps again, later tonight when it cools down outside.
It's a pathetic reading - but I've been inactive for the past 23 months, and the walking area here is small.
My goal is to hike to the stop light, about a block away … and back, again. Every day ;-)

I'm going to raise my feet up now, and mentally slay dragons: I have the tenacity to do that ;-)
