It's been a week, here at our pad, in Ocean Park-WA: 2 unexpected sibling deaths in a week's span of time - plus, the weather since we arrived here in April, has been a stinker.
I made a delicious supper soup, then laid down for a little while after cleaning the dishes and tiding the kitchen.

I was relaxing for maybe an hour, thinking about getting back up … when hearing my phone bleating on the table where I left it downstairs, actually got me up 😉
It was a text from my Graysriver friend:
Tonight's News; manhunt on.‘Armed and dangerous’ suspect sought after deadly Longview stabbing:
I pulled new sources up on my laptop - and realized I was familiar with the area shown in the news coverage 😳 … I had in my Past with my 1st husband, lived on Pennsylvania Street. And it's not that far from where I was living as a widow in Heron Pointe, where a shooting happened a couple doors away from my home.
Longview has become a cesspool of violent crimes due to the prison release & parole influx; not only local criminal minded behaviors, but cities like Portland and Seattle are sending their people here … as well as prison release & parole influx from States as far away as Florida!
Longview-WA is no longer a small town city. Safe community is no longer a concern in the minds of people who settle there. The jobs market is pretty much null and void. Longview relies now on welfare recipients, and prison-related monies.
The small town city environment my husband enjoyed in the 1960's and 1970's was disappearing in the 1980's … and by the 2000's was, for all intents and purposes, comprehensively gone.
I am glad to have gotten away from there when I remarried in 2023 👏👍

The suspect in a fatal stabbing in Longview is still at large, likely in the Clark and Cowlitz County area, and is considered armed and dangerous, according to Longview police.
The Tuesday stabbing killed one person and injured another.
Alexander Lee Rogers, 51, of Longview is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall and about 190 pounds. He could be driving a partially spray-painted black BMW with Washington plate BNU8712, police say.
Police say the public should not approach Rogers if he’s spotted. Call 911 immediately.
Rogers is is suspected of killing Dawn Peters, 64, of Longview and stabbing a 73-year-old from Longview who is in stable condition at a local hospital.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Longview Police Department at 360-442-5800 or text tips to 360-431-6397.
Both victims were found inside a home on the 100 block of Terumi Lane, near Mint Valley Golf Course, according to the department’s Tuesday press release. Rogers fled the scene before police arrived about 11:55 a.m., according to police.}}
Evil walks among us. Specifically in Longview-WA. I don't recall how we got on the topic - but I was just the other day, talking with Holland about a serial killer named jospeh condro, who was dubbed "The Longview Serial Killer", who terrorized Longview in the 1980's:
Mindhunter (2008) - Joseph Kondro:

Back to current Longview killer … the police had, at one point following the vicious violence he is being sought for, had him in close contact … and let him go; he boldly walked into a major shopping center following his carnage (pictured with the news article above) and mingled openly with the public. This person is a loose bullet - he is fearless. Holland says he looks, and acts, like a meth addict; that makes him even more dangerous.
For the sakes of everyone in these 3 Counties, I hope this current Longview-WA killer is found and bound; soon.
