My life has changed so much since December 2018. I remarried January 7th, 2023 ... we sold the house, sold our vehicles - and bought a new 4x, a 5th Wheel to travel the mainland States and experience life in the slow lane. September 25th: Holland had to drive into Longview-WA, to pick up his blood pressure pills this morning - and I went with him; my lungs were on fire, and I didn't want him to be worrying about me while he was away from home base.
A busy day was planned.
Both of us were struggling with our lungs due to the sand storm that blew across the beach yesterday afternoon: we did quickly roll the windows up and leave immediately, but damage had been done in those few milliminutes :-(
Yesterday's sand storm on Cranberry Road-WA, had both of us coughing up dirty mucus.
My lungs are in pain, today.
After we got the prescription, groceries, and extras we needed to maintain Betsy with, Holland scrapped the rest of the planned events - except for grabbing the mail as we breezed through Rainier-OR.
I was thankful.
I was drained after the grocery shopping; trying to stay alive with weak lungs is very taxing on the body.
I was sleepy, so I laid the passenger seat back, and immediately the Sandman got busy ;-)
I woke up when Betsy stopped, a bit out of Astoria; Holland suggested KFC to take home, and I readily agreed. We ate some of the chicken in the parking lot before crossing the bridge into Chinook-WA.

Finally home again, I put the groceries away while Holland sorted the bills from the junk mail. When the Salmon Creek Hospital Bill was opened, I saw red. The costs were astronomically over-inflated … and it further angered me that nothing on that list was anything I wanted done: all I had gone in for, was to have my swollen ankle tended to - and that never even happened! Services I did not want were forced on me (and I was asked if I wanted a breast reduction because the nurse thought my boobs were too large) … I finally said, "Enough!", and left. The whole experience was unpleasant and infuriating; none of them deserve a single penny :-(

I saw red - they didn't DO what I asked them TO DO; the whole experience was a total waste of my time.
Holland calmed me down by pointing out that we only had to pay a portion: a very small portion, all things considered.
It's a good thing Elohim took control.
I had been struggling to breathe all day long, with lungs that were on fire; my body was wore out trying to keep me alive. I agreed with my husband that I didn't need to get worked up over the hospital bill … so, I kissed him, and went to bed ;-)
I went to bed & canceled the world; I was worn out - in every way possible.
September 23rd: I was up before Holland, so I enjoyed 2 cups of Hazelnut Coffee to clear away the morning brain fog; and worked a few more inches on the little preemie gown I am designing:

When Holland woke up he said he needed to drive into Long Beach; and would I like to join him, and meander down Cranberry Road on the way back … yes, I would.
But, first I made some pancakes and bacon for breakfast - I used one of the 4Patriots Buttermilk Pancakes Mix: I spread my two with peanut butter and rolled them; Holland spread his with honey. They were good, either way ;-)
Driving into Long Beach this morning was kinda nippy - with a fog blanket hanging overhead, and pungent wood smoke in the air. We took our time moving forward in the dense fog.

After Holland got what he needed, we moseyed down to the beach via Cranberry Road, and the atmosphere there, reminded me of the 1980 John Carpenter movie, 'The Fog':

While we sat and talked; and watched busy little sanderlings speed past us at the speed of feathered bullets, Holland mused that maybe foggy Tillamook-OR (or even Brookings-OR) may play into the picture, while we wander towards sunny Yuma-AZ.
I'm okay with whatever he decides.
I trust his decision on travel matters - I know he will calculate all the possible risks, travel distance, road and set-up expenses … and arrive at the best possible scenario for our best interest in the moment. He has literally spent the majority of his life on the road: I trust his judgments.

I made a chicken meal for Supper, later in the day. I like simple, fuss-free dishes that don't chain me to the kitchen … but allows me to the freedom to provide healthy, yummy meals while I multi-task: and I'm happy to notice that Holland likes that, too :-D

September 22nd: Summer is coming to an end on the Long Beach Peninsula; but this afternoon unfolded on warm winds of change as an Indian Summer lingered.
We drove to the closest beachfront - which is a mere 3 minute drive from our front door.
We watched the waves, enjoyed the winged wild life antics, and joked with each other about music preferences:

I do like the Scorpions … and a few Metallica tunes (which I never listened to before Holland), and that surprised Holland, as well as myself: normally, I would not have given them a listen, but things are different now - I want to be fair with my husband, who is doing his best to equal the balance. He said, "I thought you wouldn't like them because they are a big hair band."I laughed, and said, "Well, I do like what I am hearing … and I do not consider the Scorpions a 'big hair' band. Their music is kinda low key: no lycra pants cutting into their private areas causing them to screech in angry falsetto voices. When I think of big hair bands, Cinderella, Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Guns and Roses, Poison, Ratt, and Kiss, come to mind: the kids listened to those groups, and I can't stand them - then, or now, I don't want their attitude or atmosphere bouncing around in my head. The Scorpions look like men - they sound like men. Metallica can be a little {much} with all the head-banging backbeat and aggressive growling, but there are a couple songs you've been playing, that I don't mind listening to."
Of course, all the groups mentioned in the previous paragraphs are bands Holland likes, and still listens too - mostly when he's in Betsy alone.

I have to admit though, that normally I wouldn't give people like this the time of day (I KNOW how that sounds, but it's still the truth); BUT one day I was curious … so, I gave one of their podcast reels a listen.
And I LIKED what I was hearing.
I was hooked.
And I was thankful I was curious enough to get past the the weirdness.
I am learning through listening to their interactions, how to understand Holland better. Holland comes from a different world than I do - our childhood backgrounds are eerily similar … BUT our emotional, physical, and spiritual hemispheres are WORLDS APART.
Understanding, on my end, is important.

There is realness coming through in these podcast reels. I like that. I introduced Holland to one of their reels last night, and a good discussion followed; we both liked that.
The calming and healing effect of a 1-minute hug cannot be overstated.
And little acts of kindness done as the dust begins to settle, goes a long way in spanning the gulf of hurt (shrapnel fallout, as well as unintended).
The MF terminology is banned on our home because I find it highly offensive; that said, I do like the context of the topic in this discussion.
I laughed when I heard this fella describing himself, because this is SO Holland's character; everything is a challenge, and he intends to come out on top.
It took me a while to "get" this about him. While I always appreciated his manliness … his macho-man-masculinity can be a little much at times.
But, I get "it" now. And I can laugh now instead of doing a slow burn.
Holland is a natural Leader; so am I - because I've had to be.
Holland believes in gender roles … me, not so much: he is learning to relax in that area - and let me lend my strength when his pain is off the charts; and I'm learning to step back, and lean into his mindset a little when he needs to be the hero in the Day, and just enjoy the relaxation his mindset affords me. I like that I don't have to always be in survival mode anymore.
It's not about shutting down my own thoughts, or opinions.
It's about being able to being able to relax and not be "ON" all the time.
It's about knowing that whatever decision HE makes … he's going to include ME in the outcome: knowing I can slow my thoughts down because there will be no confusion in the outcome; the outcome will be equally satisfactory because respect will be involved on both sides.

The entire first year of our marriage(except the sex part - and the assessment love: there was never any struggles in these areas, thank the Lord ;-)).
BUT there was a LOT to digest here, because we both came with baggage from past experiences and past marriages = my childhood was a hellish experience, and my first marriage was a very happy one: Holland's childhood was a struggle, and his first marriage was a disaster. We both have trust issues. Holland has very strong feelings concerning gender roles; I was raised a free spirit in a bohemian, hippy environment … I don't mind lending my strengths when needed - Holland struggles with that. And I struggle with THAT. I don't mind being pampered by someone who loves me, and I can get used to being a spoiled wife; but I'm not used to sitting on my hands and watching someone fight through physical pain because they feel the need to prove their manhood. Holland also has a lopsided mindset concerning male and female sexual behaviors (like the majority of males on the Redmill side of the family branch basically treat women as sexual toys to be used, discarded, and trash-talked), which is very biased, and that upsets me. My mindset is that there are man sluts just as there are female sluts - and the Redmill family is rife with both: I don't let the males off the hook they whip women with. This caused a lot of verbal sparring between us.
Holland insists on being an alpha-male leader, with a traditional submissive female in his family unit: I don't have issue with that. WHAT I DO take issue with, is that respect is earned rather than a guaranteed expectation - if a man wants to be in the leadership role, he needs to lead responsibly. MPO, is that having a penis does not just naturally catapult someone into the leadership role; the Redmill men feel differently. I am very uncomfortable around men that treat women disrespectfully: Hollands entire male nucleolus (family and friends) is made up of men with lopsided mentalities. That mindset caused issues between Holland and me.
We went through a pretty heavy {onion peeling} marital relationship for a year as we struggled to find a way to live peacefully together, that led to an intense outcome while cooling our heels along the Lewis River, in Woodland-WA this past summer. June and July were not a good months for us: emotionally the marriage was done, the continual warring had taken it's toll. Heart-wise we were still connected, which made the confusing conflicts more confusing. Spiritually, we were quickly tapping out.
It's refreshing to know - and SAY - that Holland and I have satisfactory worked through (talked out, actively listened) our issues and struggles, and we are confidently moving into the future to build a future, together.

Bishop is from the Greek, and denotes one who exercises the function of overseeing. Presbyter was derived from the office in the synagogue), he desires a good work.
A bishop must be blameless(innocent of wrong doing), the husband of one wife(not married to more than one woman at a time), temperate(mild, moderate; calm, reasonable), sober-minded(not intoxicated by successes or defeated by failures; free from extravagance or excess; not desirous of great things or high estate; able to deal with hardships and are motivated to keep going; focusing on the grace that is revealed in Jesus Christ; are living with eternity in view; their values are clarified), of good behavior(proper, polite; satisfactory conduct that is in line with the law - the proper performance of the duties of an office), able to teach(the ability to communicate and apply the truth of Scripture in a clear, coherent, and fruitful way: holding firm to the trustworthy word, instructing in sound doctrine, rebuking unbiblical ideas, modeling and teaching doctrine with the power of saving grace; avoiding discussions on subjects that, in reality, are useless and without redeeming qualities); not given to much wine(Christians are allowed by Yeshua to drink alcohol, but we are forbidden to get drunk: “And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit.” (Ephesians 5:18; also see Proverbs 20:1, 23:20, Isaiah 5:22); one mark of a Spirit-filled and Spirit-led person is that they have self-control(Galatians 5:23 )), not violent(the Hebrew word translated 'violence' is hā'mās': this includes brute force assault, as well as oppression or unjustness and cruelty. Likewise(in the same way; also), deacons(from Greek diakonos, meaning 'helper'; deacons perform a variety of tasks, including reading the Gospel, leading the Lord's prayer, visiting the sick, supporting the poor, and helping with administrative duties; a deacon can be a male - or a female: the issue of whether women should serve as deacons is restricted to a few verses - Romans 16:1, 1 Timothy 3:11. Phoebe is called a 'deacon of the church in Cenchreae'(Romans 16:1). Male deacon's wives(a woman legally married to a man) must be reverent, not slanderers(someone who damages another person's reputation by spreading false or damaging statements about them), temperate(moderate or self-restrained; not extreme in opinion, or statement), faithful(steadfast in affection or allegiance: loyal, a faithful friend, firm in adherence to promises or in observance of duty) in all things(the entirety of a group of items or concepts).
Let deacons be the husband of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
For those who have served well as deacons obtain(get, acquire, or secure) for themselves a good standing(in favor or on good terms) and great boldness(a spirit-empowered conviction, courage, and willful urgency to do the right thing at the right time, regardless of fear or barriers) in The Faith which is in Yeshua Ha'Mashiach (Matthew 25:21).

And without controversy(intense public argument, disagreement, disapproval; quarrel, strife), great is the mystery of godliness(self explanatory passage: "Christ was manifest in the flesh and was pure in the spirit, beheld by the angels, proclaimed among the nations." The essential message here is that Jesus Christ came as a Man like us and was yet pure in His spirit. So, we too, need not sin when we walk in the power of the *******Ruach HaKo'desh): God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit (Matthew 3:16 & John 1:14), seen by angels (Matthew 28:2), preached among the Gentiles (Romans 10:18), believed on, in the world (Colossians 1:6 & 23), and received up, into glory (Luke 24:51)."
*Apostle Paul = known as Saul before he converted to Christianity (Acts 9), was the chief killer of Christians following Yeshua’s death, resurrection, and ascension – being the foremost witness to the stoning of Stephen (Acts 7).
The Apostle Paul was one of the most influential leaders of the early Christian Church. He played a crucial role in spreading the gospel to the Gentiles (non-Jews) during the first century, and his missionary journeys took him all throughout the Roman empire.
**Timothy = son of the devout Jewish woman, Eunice, and a Greek father, Timothy became a follower of Yeshua Ha’Mashiach when Apostle Paul preached the Gospel in Lystra, Timothy’s hometown. Paul invited the young convert to accompany him on his second missionary journey; and was sent to Thessalonica to strengthen the fellowship there. After another journey with Paul, Timothy was sent to Corinth to straighten out some problems upsetting the fellowship there.
Timothy later looked after Paul during Paul’s imprisonment. Timothy subsequently was asked to go to Ephesus to represent Paul, and received the two letters from Paul that bear Timothy’s Name. Timothy – these letters reveal, was like a son to Paul.
The last word in the New Covenant about this sensitive, sickly, but faithful young helper was that he was imprisoned but finally released. Acts 16:1, 17:14-15, 18:5, 19:22 & 20:4; Romans 16:21; 1 Corinthians 4;17 & 16:10; 2 Corinthians1:1 & 19; Colossians 1:1; 1 Thessalonians 1:1, 3:2, & 6; 2 Thessalonians 1:1; 1 & 2 Timothy; Philemon 1; and Hebrews 13:23.

The word is derived from Ancient Greek ἀπόστολος (apóstolos), literally "one who is sent off", itself derived from the verb ἀποστέλλειν (apostéllein), "to send off". The purpose of such sending off is usually to convey a message, and thus "messenger" is a common alternative translation; other common translations include "ambassador" and "envoy".
Apostle in the Gospels is one of an authoritative New Testament group sent out to preach the gospel and made up especially of Christ's 12 original disciples and Paul.
****Yeshua Ha’Mashiach: is Hebrew for “Jesus the Messiah”; the name Jesus is the Greek form of the Hebrew name Yeshua.
Christ (from the Hebrew word, Ha’Mashiach ישוע המשיח & the Greek word, Christos/khris-tos) = The Anointed, Yeshua the Messiah, in both languages.
Lord Jesus Christ (in Greek: Kyrios Iēsous Christos) = the most formal title for Jesus (Yeshua). It occurs often in the New Testament letters.
The word “Lord” has a wide range of uses; it can be a simple respectful “Sir” or a more formal, “Master.” But the New Testament also uses “Lord” of God. The word “Christ” is the anglicized form of the Greek word meaning “anointed one” or “Messiah.” “Lord Jesus Christ” reminds us that Jesus is both the promised Messiah and our God.
*****Elohim(Hebrew: אֱלֹהִים, romanized: ʾּlōhīm: [(eloˈ(h)im]) is a Hebrew word meaning "Gods – Father, Son, & Holy Spirit". Although the word is plural in form, in the Hebrew Bible it usually refers to a single deity “Behold, the Lord – the Lord is One”, particularly the God of Israel.
The Hebrew name for "the living God" is Elohim Chayim (אלהים חיים). The name is made up of two parts:
Elohim: The plural form of the Hebrew word for God. Although it is plural in form, it is usually understood as singular when referring to the God of Israel.
Chayim: The plural form of the Hebrew word for "life".
The name Elohim Chayim emphasizes that God is alive, active, and superior to all other objects of worship. It can also be interpreted as representing the three living persons of the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
******Lucifer = A name for the leader of the devils; an angel who was cast from heaven into hell because he rebelled against Elohim. Lucifer is usually identified with Satan. The name Lucifer, which means “bearer of light” or “morning star,” refers to his former splendor as the greatest of the angels (Isaiah 14:12-15).
*******Ruach HaKo'desh(The Hebrew language phrase ruach ha-kodesh is pronounced ROO-akh-KOH-desh: רוח הקודש, "holy spirit" also transliterated ruaḥ ha-qodesh) is used in the Hebrew Bible and Jewish writings to refer to the spirit of YHWH (רוח יהוה); the Holy Spirit occurs 90 times in the Brit Chadashah. Luke 3:16; Ephesians 1:13, & 4:30; 1 Thessalonians 4:8; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 6:9; & Jude 1:20.
The New Testament is called the B'rit Chadashah in Hebrew, meaning "New Covenant" (the word B'rit means "covenant" and Chadashah means "new").
^Angel: (n) – a spiritual being in position of attendant, agent, or messenger of Elohim (often represented in human form with wings and a long robe).
^^Gentile = person who is not Jewish. The word stems from the Hebrew term ha-goyim, “the nations,” meant nations of the world that were not Hebrew.
^^^Church = The word translated "Church" is the translation of the Greek term ekklesia, and is used in the New Covenant (New Testament) to identify the community of believers in Yeshua Ha'Mashiach.This word is the Greek words kaleo (to call), with the prefix ek (out). Thus, the word means "the called out ones."
However, the English word "Church" does not come from ekklesia but from the word kuriakon, which means "dedicated to the Lord."
#Good News = Gospel: the word is derived from the Anglo-Saxon term, god-spell, meaning “good story”; Biblically speaking, gospel is a rendering of the Latin evangelium and the Greek euangelion, meaning “good news” or “good telling”.
##Heaven: The Hebrews acknowledge three heavens – the atmosphere surrounding Earth; the firmament of outer space, in which the stars are placed; and the heaven of Heavens, or third heaven, which is he residence of Jehovah.
Among Christians, Heaven is the place where the omnipresent God of Gods dwells and manifests His supreme glory; this habitation of God is represented by the residence of angels and the blessed spirits of those who are rewarded eternal salvation.
###Faith = The closest that the Bible comes to offering an exact definition is Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” From this particular passage we understand that the central feature of scriptural faith is confidence or trust; the object of faith is Elohim and His promises in Yeshua Ha'Mashiach.
