Our lives have changed so much since January 7th, 2023 ... New Marriage/New Life: the blending of two into one, gets dicey at times - daily life on the road adds more dicey complications. This is our story of our life in our 5th wheel RV Home. I post about anything & everything, and if what I post can help someone else, I'm glad for the experience. But from sunrise to sunset, we live our Life for US.

VIGILANT & AWARE
We are vigilant about leaving for Arizona in a couple days; yesterday afternoon, we finally got the oil in Betsy changed; but we had to drive to Longview to accomplish that … everywhere between here and Astoria-OR claims to be "busy for the next 6 weeks." Hmm
I've not been feeling very well for the past week - and I think Holland is not doing well either: he's been sneezing and sleeping most mornings away. He has trouble sleeping anyway, so I don't wake him; if he wants to sleep until 10 or 11 A.M., that's fine with me: we are retired, there's no big hurry to get up at 6 A.M.
And I make Bleu be quiet too.
Holland is literally an answer to prayer: he completes my life as it is now, to the end of my life.
Holland is my 2nd husband, and I will share the rest of my life with him; it won't be 44 years - like I had with Bob, but by the grace of Elohim it will be at least half of that.
It's been raining steadily here. The sun should come out and dry things up around Friday, but for now, the rain is falling. When I let Bleu out this morning, I ignored the rain and did think to myself as I stood in the open doorway, that even though I am eagerly waiting for us to hook Independence to Betsy and head for the warmth and change of scenery of Arizona's desert … I will miss the forests of WA State.
But I wouldn't miss the forest enough to forego Arizona ;-)
After Holland got up and drank his coffee, we left for Longview.
The oil was changed, windshield wipers were switched out … and I suggested lunch at the El Tapatio mexican restaurant, in Rainier-OR after we checked our mail; we won't be back this way again until March 2024. As soon as I walked through the door I took in the surroundings and said, "Oh … I forgot about this - the mexican celebration of the dead. Sorry." There were hanging skeletons, gauzing ghosts, dancing black-shrouded cadavers … all dangling from the ceiling in every room; and an alter in the back with skulls, candles, and cards spread across it.
Day of the Dead = Dia De Los Muertos: (https://www.history.com/topics/halloween/day-of-the-dead)
We stayed and ate.
Holland likes mexican food, and this place has good food; we don't have to agree with pagan mindsets to enjoy ethnic foods.
We prayed over our food, and ate.
After we finished eating, we drove over to Kelso to grab a couple cases of bottled water, and I laughed out loud when I saw this leaning sight as we drove Industrial Way, on our way home (we drove home the Oregon side of the river):
We got home as the sun set on the horizon.
Bleu and Holland both hit the sack early, but I stayed up a bit longer and worked on another towel - this one in Holiday colors; and vigilantly prayed we all stay healthy enough to get us from WA to AZ without any more delays.

THE ONLY WAY~YESHUA
I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Yeshua.
I am not concerned if the Gospel offends people.
I am getting older every second of every day; and I am Glory Bound … I intend to take as many people with me as possible when my feet leave this planet.
THE PRICE EXTRACTED~Faith In Yeshua
I believe in The Rapture - I fully expect to be air lifted outta here "in the twinkling of an eye": everything is currently in place for that to happen in my lifetime 😁
I also believe that there is a possibility - given the present circumstances and situations endorsed and embraced by the demonic barak hussain obama loving hordes in DC and across this land, that I could be murdered simply for being a Christian … most certainly for being a Jew: AND THAT'S OKAY TOO 😉
I'm ready "to go!" whenever and however. I bought my ticket to engage in either happy event, in 1965 - and I sealed the Deal in 1977. Despicable humans can kill my body, but they cannot destroy ME: {ME} belongs to Yeshua, and I am eagerly awaiting a change of Address 💖
Thankfully my new Husband "gets me" and totally understands 😘

HOW THE APOSTLES DIED
1. Matthew: Suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, Killed by a sword wound.
2. Mark: Died in Alexandria, Egypt , after being dragged by Horses through the streets until he was dead.
3. Luke: Was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous Preaching to the lost.
4. John: Faced martyrdom when he was boiled in huge Basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution In Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered From death.
John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison Island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos . The apostle John was later freed and returned to serve As Bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey . He died as an old man, the only apostle to die peacefully
5. Peter: He was crucified upside down on an x shaped cross. According to church tradition it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die In the same way that Jesus Christ had died.
6. James: The leader of the church in Jerusalem , was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a fuller's club.
This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the Temptation.
7. James the Son of Zebedee: was a fisherman by trade when Jesus Called him to a lifetime of ministry.
As a strong leader of the church, James was beheaded at Jerusalem. The Roman officer who guarded James watched amazed as James defended his faith at his trial.
Later, the officer Walked beside James to the place of execution. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and Knelt beside James to accept beheading as a Christian.
8. Bartholomew: Also known as Nathaniel: He Was a missionary to Asia. He witnessed for our Lord in present day Turkey. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia where he was flayed to death by a whip.
9. Andrew: He Was crucified on an x-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being whipped severely by seven soldiers they tied his body to the cross with cords to prolong his agony.
His followers reported that, when he was led toward the cross, Andrew saluted it in these words, "I have long desired and expected this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it". He continued to preach to his tormentors for two days until he expired.
10. Thomas: He Was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary trips to establish the church in the Subcontinent.
11. Jude: He Was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.
12. Matthias: The apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot. He was stoned and then beheaded.
13. Paul: He Was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. Paul endured a lengthy imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the foundational Doctrines of Christianity, form a large portion of the New Testament.
Perhaps this is a reminder to us that our sufferings here are indeed minor to compare to the intense persecution and cold cruelty faced by the apostles and disciples during their times For the sake of the Faith.
The Apostles were not afraid of death; they had been prepared for it … and they were witness to Yeshua's physical death, resurrection & ascension into Heaven before their very eyes. When persecution and eventual death arrived, they met it with unquestionable Faith in the Keeper of their soul. Yeshua had said, "And you shall be hated of all man for My Name's sake - but he that endures to the end shall be saved."
Pass on to encourage other Christians to 'keep the Faith!'
Why Do we feel sleepy in Prayer, but stay awake through a 3 hour movie?
Why are we so bored when we look at the HOLY BOOK. But find it easy to read other books?
Why is it so easy to ignore a message about God, yet we forward the nasty ones?
Why are Prayers getting smaller, but bars and clubs are expanding?
Why is it so easy to worship a celebrity, but very difficult to engage with God?
Make this message your contribution to the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Yom Kipper~Eve
SICK DAY
I have been under the weather for a few days, now.
I woke up in a sweat this afternoon - so, I think the worst is over, and I'm on the mend.
But as a precautionary measure, I am avoiding close interactions with everyone except my husband … who still insists on getting close to me saying, "A kiss and a cuddle with you is worth risking a sneeze or two" ;-)
I had kept Holland up most of the night with coughing, sniffling's, and constant movement; so he took a short nap when I woke up.
While he napped, I finished up a current project … and worked on a new one :-)
It's still raining steadily here, so I'm thinking I'll be turning in early again tonight - with a red wine toddy, and reading a book until I drift off.

LAZY RAINY DOG DAY
I haven't felt very well the past few days - headache, stinging nose, stuffy head, upset stomach …
The guys wanted to check out the local Saturday Farmer's Market today, and last night, I said I'd go with them "if I feel up to it tomorrow morning."
I didn't feel up to it when I woke up this morning, so I sent David a text:
The guys left around 9:30 A.M.: and I agreed to watch both dogs - David was concerned they might be too much for me because they were pretty rambunctious, but I said, "it's okay - they'll behave for me. Once you two are out of their eyesight, they will settle down."
And they did :-)
They weren't too chummy when they shared the same space as siblings … but they are pals now, and enjoy each other's company since they have been split up and occasionally share the same space.
It was fun to have them together, again.
While they napped (they had burned off all their excess energy showing off for their "daddy's" ;-)), I finished up the chef's towel I knitted for Holland, and started on a matching dishcloth.
I also enjoyed a tasty tuna salad Holland made up with the canned tuna we three had canned a week ago. Now I know why people can tuna - and I agree with Holland, that we need to do this again.
The juiced fresh pineapple and lemon drink was good, too.
Today has been a relaxing Shabbat :-)
