The cornerstone of the Messianic Christian Faith is that Yeshua is Messiah, the sacrificial Lamb - by Whose blood, we are cleansed from our sins. The promise of the Messianic Christian Faith is that when we acknowledge Yeshua as the Son of Elohim & His atoning crucifixion sacrifice, we are saved & are guaranteed eternal life - all the Law has been fulfilled and we are now under grace; not to continue sinning as some assume, but rather that if we unknowingly sin, we are forgiven by His blood atonement. Rebellious sin is still sin and is not covered by grace, as it is a direct affront to Elohim & a complete disregard for Yeshua. The hope of the Messianic Faith is that Yeshua will collect His living Bride (the Saints) before the Great Tribulation … and He will return in person, to fight the final earth battle for Israel - once and for all, establishing them as His People & Jerusalem as His City, the crowning jewel of His People.
Hu Yavo = He will come.
And all will be fulfilled according to Elohim's Plan.
2026 years ago, 98% of that Plan was completed … historically, Yeshua met with His disciples for the Passover festivities, in the Upper Room on a Wednesday afternoon … we know this because the fulfillment took place on the 1st Day of the Week - which, according to Hebrew context, fell on the Sabbath. Yeshua's arrest follows, Wednesday evening; His Trial took place, early Thursday, His crucifixion on Friday afternoon, & His Resurrection, in the wee hours of Saturday morning (The Jewish week starts on Saturday. In Hebrew, the week begins with Shabbat (שבת), which is the seventh day of the week = Yeshua lived His entire earthly Life as a Jew; coming to fulfill the Law, not to abolish it~Matthew 5:17); and His physical appearance later in the Day, on the Road to Emmaus, giving proof not only that He conquered Death - but that He (and subsequently WE) will be capable of physical activity, speaking, eating physical meals … AND MUCH MORE in our spiritual bodies when the time comes for us to attain them 👏😁
Matthew 5:17-20: Yeshua said, "Think not that I come to destroy the Law, or the prophets: I have not come to destroy, but to fulfil. Truly I say to you, that until heaven & earth pass away, not one word shall be dismissed of the Law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever then, shall break one of the commandments - and teach others to do, also - will be the least in the Kingdom of Heaven … but whosoever shall do & teach them, will be considered great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I say to you, that except your righteousness exceed the righteousness if the scribes & Pharisees, you have no chance of entering into the Kingdom of Heaven." Exceeding righteousness involves cultivating pure, loving motives rather than merely avoiding publicly visible sins.
Matthew 24:30-42: "And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: then shall all the tribes of the Earth mourn - when they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power & great glory. And he shall send His angels with a great shout of the shofar, & they shall gather together His saints from one end of heaven to the other. Now learn a parable of the fog tree; when the branch is yet tender, and puts out it's leaves, you know that summer is near - so likewise, when you shall see all those things I have spoken of … know that the time is near, even at the door. And hear: this generation shall not pass, until all these things are fulfilled. Heaven & Earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. However, of that Day & that Hour, no one knows - no one, not even the angels of heaven: but My Father, only. But as in the days of Noah, so shall also be the coming of the Son of man - for in those days that were before the great flood, they were eating & drinking, marrying & giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and did not pay attention until the flood arrived & destroyed them; so shall the coming of the Son of man, be. Then shall 2 be in the field - 1 shall be taken, and the other left. 2 women shall be about their domestications … 1 will be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore, because you do not know what hour your Lord will come." This scripture passage emphasizes the importance of being vigilant and prepared in one's faith. It is a call to live a life that reflects one's commitment to Elohim, and anticipate Yeshua's return. The verse is part of the Olivet Instruction, where Yeshua warns His disciples about the signs of the End Times; and the uncertainty of the timing of His return, stressed the unpredictability of Life and the need for spiritual readiness.
John 14:1-3: Yeshua said to them; "Let not your heart be troubled - you believe in Elohim, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions: if this were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you … and if I go & prepare a place for you, I will come again, & bring you with Me; so that where I am, there you will be also." Yeshua is giving his followers hope & assurance, promising them a future filled with His presence and peace. This surety serves as a reminder for believers to keep their focus on the eternal promises of Elohim, rather than the temporary circumstances of this world.
Acts 1:9-12: And when Yeshua had finished speaking, & while the apostles watched, He was taken up; and a cloud covered Him until they could see Him no more. As they stood, watching, 2 men in shining white clothing appeared beside them, saying; "You men of Galilee, why do stand gazing upward? This same Yeshua - Who has been taken up from you into heaven, will return in the same manner as you watched Him leave. Then the apostles left the Mount of Olives & returned to Jerusalem, which is a sabbath day's journey = approximately 0.6 miles. This passage of Scripture is a central and important message for Messianic believers because the Christian message of the New Covenant hinges on it. This event is significant as it marks the end of Jesus' earthly ministry and the beginning of His heavenly reign. The passage serves as a reminder of the faith and trust believers should have in Yeshua's promises, knowing that He is always with us and will one day return to bring about the ultimate fulfillment of Elohim's plan.
Revelation 1:7: "See; He will come with the clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all peoples of the Earth shall wail because of acknowledgement of Him. Even so, so be it."
This was Yeshua's mission, his ministry and His promise.
The Church was founded by Yeshua - of Jews & Gentile; and tended to by His apostles & disciples.
The Church is still functioning, and thriving under holy leadership - and looking up, expecting at any minute to be caught up in rapture … later, to return with Him to help liberate the Hebrew people & set up His Kingdom in Israel, once & for all: where Jews will never again have to fear for their lives.
We will be recognized.
We will be unquestionably loved.
We will be eternally established in the Promised Land.
Hallelujah!
