Punxsutawney Phil saw his chubby shadow today, predicting six more weeks of winter 😟 This tradition, known as Groundhog Day, has been celebrated annually in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, since 1887.
I am really starting to hate that fat little rat 😒
I want sunshine & warmth! 🙏
Speaking of chubby shadows … I'm sticking to my Senior Exercise Plan (including intermediate fasting) to trim mine down 😉; this morning, I used my 10-lb kettlebell: I could probably bump it up to the next weight size, but I just want to tone my muscles, not beef them up. I have no interest in looking freakish.
Warm up exercises:

Intermittent Fasting By Age:

I spent the rest of the Day working on my WIP - it didn't wrap up by the end of January (Husband time took precedence 👩❤️💋👨); but I really want it done before we get back to the PNW, so that's what I'll be doing pretty much nonstop from now on.
The coyotes were singing their midnight serenade, tonight. It always makes me smile as I drift off to dreamland …

We were just talking about that "fat rat" this morning! LOL. We have a local duck that predicts the weather and he too saw his shadow so the (somewhat off color!) joke has been that someone needs to shoot and cook that duck.
ReplyDeleteHahaha - I "hear you" 😉
DeleteIt's been Groundhog Day in the UK with the rain for over 40 days now. Thanks for joining in with #pocolo
