A SYMPHONY OF PERMANENCE & CHANGE; Castle Rock-WA

C.o.l.d. morning, here; Toutle River RV Resort, Castle Rock-WA

BRRR 😱🍁 It was a very c.o.l.d. 33-degrees when I finally slid between sheets and blankets early this morning … and barely any warmer (44-degrees/9 AM) when I woke up 6 hours later. Laptop, wrist watch, & both phones notify me: "46-degrees & sunny" (10:15 AM, now). I see the sunshine - but warmth is not felt.

So

I'm gonna sit here drinking my morning joy juice, cozily - with my aching knees rubbed generously with Lidocaine Cream & pampered with a lapghan folded double & tucked around them; listening to freeway traffic buzz busily past my window … with 2 heaters (1 is not enough), Kleenex at fingertips, and a cheery potted plant - trying like I am - to suck in some of the sketchy warmth the gaslighting sunshine streaming through the window, is promising.

BRRR!

Amen 💎

Got a lot of shaking going on: change happening on every level, here 🙏

Thank You, Yeshua, that You are always a sigh, a touch, a prayer & a breath away … yet sticking closer than any other. Your presence means everything 💕 - when everything is in constant change 🕊️

We are SO GLAD 👏👍 we are stranded in WA State this year, with all the crazy weather going on down south!

We never went here, when we went to Parker - with our health limitations, a 1-way In & 1-way OUT would not have been a wise decision.

Famous off-grid Arizona saloon forced to close for first time in 43 years: (https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/famous-off-grid-arizona-saloon-forced-to-close-for-first-time-in-43-years/ar-AA2e1gRO?ocid=socialshare&fbclid=IwY2xjawU6LARleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBwZG9mBXNydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR466x-CegcNfI2m5zYUzY03YRMV15-SnWBGOfI_L9AcyEBKWWPSRWS-KGpH7A_aem_SeUicicefXN3AkvJ90STkA)

But we did hear about it from everyone who crossed our path and said, "You NEED to GO!"

Uh - NO. Big 'No', to the risky road & drunken desert zombies. We stuck to the historic mining sites that were safer bets for us.

The entire landscape will be drastically changed when we get back down that way, again. Quartzsite was seriously flood damaged this year (ALL year); Kingman (ALL year), Flagstaff, Seligman, Bullhead City, Laughlin, Oatman, Lake Havasu, Needles, Yuma … I'm glad I got to see these places as Holland had remembered them … before the crazy weather broke out.

Things that have kept us here, in WA:

1) Holland's vision he received in Ocean Park, last summer - we thought it concerned the ocean tsunami's, so we've studiously been avoiding ocean view parking (and Holland loves the ocean) - but maybe he was being warned to steer clear of AZ; which is our main 'draw', even with the flying dust.

2) Medical & dental scheduling that seriously bit into our normal travel timeline: & still keeps us anchored here with results waiting.

3) Betsy maintenance -  I'm thanking Elohim now, for Holland's flaky friend Tim; those months of Tim's jerking him around … kept us here and kept us safe.

The Plan was to get Betsy taken care of - then hit the road for AZ

(((THANK YOU, YESHUA! For Your providence and Your safe-keeping))) ~ And, forgive my bitching, during all the delaying. Amen.

4) Independence scheduled ["needs" checklist walk through] tomorrow morning, to see what needs done in that regard.

LOTS going on, here; & how we move forward, if we move forward, & when we move forward depends on Independence & Holland's medical results.

But, for now, we're just giving thanks that we have escaped a wash-out 🙏👍
