ATHEIST HAILS CHRISTIANITY AS HUMANITY'S DOORKEEPER

What if one of Christianity’s strongest defenders wasn’t a Christian?

Historian Tom Holland spent years immersed in the ancient Greek and Roman world expecting to admire it. Instead, he found something deeply unsettling. The ancient world was breathtaking in its achievements; but also astonishingly brutal. Infanticide was common. Slavery was taken for granted. The weak existed for the benefit of the strong. Human dignity, as we understand it today, simply wasn’t a universal value.

That realization led Holland to an unexpected conclusion: many of the moral assumptions we now consider “obvious” are anything but ancient. They are the product of Christianity’s profound influence on Western civilization: equality, compassion, human rights, care for the poor, and the value of every human life is the hallmark of Christianity.

Tom Holland is one of Britain’s best-known historians of the ancient world and the author of Dominion: How the Christian Revolution Remade the World. Although he has described himself as an agnostic, his historical research led him to conclude that Christianity transformed Western moral thought in ways many people no longer recognize.

Holland argues that ideas such as the inherent worth of every person, compassion for the weak, care for the poor, the dignity of women, opposition to infanticide, and the belief that power should serve rather than exploit are not self-evident truths inherited from Greece or Rome. They became deeply rooted in the West through the influence of Christianity.

That doesn’t mean Christians have always lived up to these ideals.

History records many failures.

But it does mean the ideals themselves became culturally influential because of the Christian worldview.

MAINE COURT RULES MOTHER CANNOT RAISE DAUGHTER IN CHRISTIAN FAITH

Thanksgivinghttps://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/court-rules-12-year-old-s-mother-cannot-read-her-the-bible-take-her-to-church/ar-AA1RnQ7c?ocid=winp1taskbar&cvid=a82a127747434004b2302b833a720a57&ei=8

The Maine Supreme Court recently heard oral arguments concerning the case of Emily Bickford, who was blocked from taking her 12-year-old daughter to church.

Bickford received a custody order from a lower court forbidding her from taking the girl to services for Calvary Chapel, an evangelical Protestant fellowship of churches centered on expository Bible preaching.

The order also "allows prohibiting the daughter from reading the Bible," according to a Nov. 12 release from Liberty Counsel, a legal advocacy group assisting Bickford in court.

The custody order gave Matthew Bradeen, the girl's biological father, the "sole right to decide about whether his daughter" attends any Calvary Chapel services, whether she can review video messages or literature from the denomination, or even whether she can communicate with any members, according to Liberty Counsel.

The order indeed encompasses “any other church or religious organization, or exposure to the teachings of any religious philosophy or of the Bible in general.”

Bradeen hired Dr. Janja Lalich, a California sociology professor and "expert on cults," to convince Maine District Judge Jennifer Nofsinger that Calvary Chapel is a cult because of its biblical teachings on hell, demons, and spiritual warfare.

"Dr. Lalich told the judge that cults usually have a charismatic, authoritarian leader who teaches about a 'transcendent belief system' that offers answers, and 'promises some sort of salvation,'" Liberty Counsel said.

"She further testified that she had 'studied' Calvary Chapel Church and found that the church’s pastor was a 'charismatic' speaker, spoke 'authoritatively' in his messages, and that he asserted his messages were objective truth."

Lalich therefore concluded that the girl could experience psychological harm by attending the church.

This was despite the fact that all true Christian churches affirm that the gospel is the only means to receive salvation and that the Bible is the source of truth.

Liberty Counsel noted that Nofsinger repeatedly wrote "god" rather than "God" in her order, and that Bradeen did the same in his complaint.

The legal nonprofit is therefore seeking "a reversal of this unlawful custody order and restoration of the mother’s First Amendment right to pass on her religious beliefs to her child."

Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver affirmed that the custody order "banning Emily Bickford from taking her child to a Christian church because of its biblical teachings violates the First Amendment."

"The breadth of this court order is breathtaking because it even prohibits contact with the Bible, religious literature, or religious philosophy," Staver added.

"The custody order cannot prohibit Bickford from taking her daughter to church. The implications of this order pose a serious threat to religious freedom.”

This order by an obamanite judge in Maine, IS ILLEGAL ... and puts ALL Christians who adhere to Biblical living at risk of losing parental rights. It is also another example of WHY Christians should not marry outside of thier Faith.

barak hussain obama, & joe biden were the WORST THINGS to happen to America. And Maine is just off the charts across the board, in defying American Law.

Constitution of the United States First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

HOMOSEXUAL SCOTT BESSENT SEATED AS USA TREASURY SECRETARY~2025

WHY did I title this Blog entry the way I did?

'It's elementary, Sherlock' … blessings from Heaven will not fall on America, IF Americans keep dancing to the devil's tune.

Trump & Vance continue claiming they are Christians - but THIS, is NOT a Christ-like move ðŸ˜³ Christ is very clear on the issue of sexual perversion.

And moves like this is why I do not put any political party before-or-after my given Name.

1) I am FIRST OF ALL, A Christian - my FULL ALLEGIANCE IS TO ELOHIM. Full stop.

2) I am secondly, an American - and though I do carry a smidgen of African, at least 1/3 or more Israeli Ashkenazi & Sephardic, and enough American Lakota DNA in my veins to claim Lakota standing … my blood runs red, white, and blue; and I understand that I am only journeying over this Land, my true Home is beyond the clouds with Yeshua (and someday, soon I'm thinking, I'll go there), so I don't politicize my ethnicity to curry political favors that do do more harm to America, than good.

3) I stand with President Trump a because he stands with America & Americans - what his standing with Elohim is, in MPO, up for grabs given this particular appointment. And it just further proves my point that one cannot be a fully committed Christian and be in politics: it's like mixing oil & water - it may look appealing, but it is useless. It's not workable. Trump is a businessman, which is good for America. Trump is a hard-nosed politician, which is also good for America at this point in time. It is questionable as to whether or not, he is a bonafide Christian; I do not believe he is a wicked religious hypocrite like obama - but he may be more on the levels of shifting {christianity} exampled by the clinton's, bush's, and biden's than it appears in the moment. Time will tell.

But, whatever the case may be … Trump is Elohim's Man for the Hour. There is no doubt, about that.

4) It is true that we are not to judge people … BUT, Scripture tells us to judge the spirit to see if it lines up with what is being claimed: in this case, this Trump choice is not a wise one, and it will seriously undermine a studiously laid election promise to "make America, great again'. One cannot gain Elohim's favor, or National Blessing, by deliberately going against one of Elohim's direct commands concerning sexual perversion - just sayin'; if one wants the blessing, they have to walk the talk. Full stop.

(Reuters) - The U.S. Senate on Monday confirmed scott bessent to be President Donald Trump's Treasury secretary, giving the billionaire hedge fund manager a central role in shaping the new administration's policy ambitions around tax cuts and spending and managing economic relationships with allies and adversaries alike.

As the 79th Treasury secretary, bessent will have sway over the nation's tax collections and its $28 trillion Treasury debt market, with vast influence over fiscal policy, financial regulations, international sanctions and investments from overseas.

The vote was 68-29, with 16 Democrats supporting the nomination.

bessent, 62, is already shaping up to be a forceful advocate for Trump's economic agenda, which centers on reducing taxes and imposing steep tariffs that Democrats, and some economists, argue could undo some of the progress the Federal Reserve has made in getting inflation under control.

In his confirmation hearing, bessent warned that failure to renew $4 trillion in tax cuts expiring at the end of this year would be a "calamity" for middle-class Americans, and made the case that tariffs would help combat unfair trade practices, increase revenues, and bolster U.S. leverage in international negotiations.

He also pushed back against the idea that Trump's policies would be inflationary, and said that the administration's efforts to increase oil production would actually help bring down prices.

As Trump's top economic official, bessent will face a range of challenges, the most immediate of which will be managing federal cash flows after the government hit its statutory debt limit on Trump's second day in office. Even before he was sworn in, the Treasury Department was using "extraordinary measures" to avoid breaching the cap and triggering a catastrophic default. bessent told senators in his confirmation hearing that there would be no default on his watch.

bessent will also need to deal with the prospect of rising budget deficits and added government debt estimated to run into the trillions of dollars, if tax cut extensions and other promised tax breaks cannot be offset by revenue increases or spending cuts. If precedent holds, he will be a central actor working with Congress on the size and shape of any tax reforms.

More than 60% of the federal debt is scheduled to roll over on his watch - and that's before taking into account issuance growth that has been running at more than $2 trillion a year since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Worries about rising budget deficits and stickier inflation have in recent weeks sent long-term bond yields up as investors demand more compensation for risk. That in turn has driven up the average rate on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages to more than 7%, a pain point with particular saliency for Americans looking to buy a home.

bessent used his confirmation hearing to talk tough on deficits, declaring that government spending is "out of control," though it is not clear how much he could do to rein it in. He backed Trump's pledge not to touch the Social Security retirement program and Medicare insurance plan for seniors, among the biggest line items in the federal budget, along with interest expense, determined by market rates that the Treasury does not control.

Born and raised in South Carolina, bessent says he still listens to farm radio. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Yale University and has spent his career in finance, working for investors george soros and jim chanos, and running his own firm Key Square. bessent - as fifth in line to the presidency - is also the highest ranking openly gay federal official in history.

I am NOT pleased with this nomination - one cannot be divided in loyalties; President Trump claims to be a Christian, who will run this Nation with a Christian Values foundation … already, cracks in the foundation, are appearing 🤔
