OCTOBER HUMOR #2; Pic's & Songs to Fit

My mother always started October off with Screaming Jay Hawkins growling out of the Hi-Fi Stereo … "I put a spell on you, because you're miiiinne"; this year, I'll switch that version out with CCR's version - I don't like CCR, but Bob did & Holland does, and I'm favoring Holland this month because there is a lot going on in his life, our life, and Life in general. So, instead of Screaming Jay Hawkins' growling, today's playlist will be favoring CCR's lazy-tongued, nasal, southern caterwallering 🙄👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

Rockin' Ryan & The Real Goners - I'm A Wolfman: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGBYleUonTw&list=RDAGBYleUonTw&start_radio=1)

My mother liked CCR. My 1st Husband liked CCR. My kids like CCR. My 2nd Husband likes CCR. I do not - I can't understand a single word they say because they sing with lazy tongues & a nasal twang. But my mother has Southren relatives … so do both husbands. My currant husband grew up in Southren states & worked oil fields there in his working years: I'm getting used to the lazy tongue drawl (though Holland talks with a tongue that pronounces clearly - thank the good Lord). But I still can't get used to CCR. I much rather prefer the original song by the original singer, Screaming Jay Hawkins.

Anyway … here's to You, Baby ❤️, enjoy 😘

OCTOBER HUMOR #1; Pic's & Songs to Fit

While savoring my morning coffee & waiting for the chilled temperature to rise, I watched an old 1970's movie that tied ancient Egyptian ocean travel to Mexico. It's a cheezy movie, but at least it isn't dripping with slasher visuals - or follow an aimless script based solely on sensationalized blood letting & scare tactic demonic impressions.

And there is some actual historical facts linked to the Egyptian-South American theory: it was possible, as archeological expeditions have proven - some South American rafts look exactly like Egyptian boats; and the the pyramids are similar in shape, scope & height. Even the religious practices echo Egyptian influences. The naysayers are the same who deny Vikings sailed to North America before Columbus … which archeology has also proven factual.

Cast of known, recognized Star Names: Ray Milland, John Forsythe, husband & wife - Christopher George & Lynda Day George, Lee Meriwether, Stella Stevens, & Hilarie Thompson.
