DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS

Some may not believe in demonic activity - but I, personally, do.

Holland and I have been dealing with some weird, and unexpected stuff for a couple months: the bunkhouse medicine cabinet, where I keep my makeup and perfumes is just a small part of it.

Tempers flaring is happening a little too often, too - over stupid stuff that doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the grand scheme of things; half the time we don't even know what started the emotional wildfire :-(

The devil may be in the details, but on the whole … love carries us through. The Book of Job is one of my favorite "go-to" Books for inspiration, when the devil decides to throw misery my way: Elohim loves me & I love Him/Yeshua loves me & I love Him/Holland loves me & I love him/and I've read the Book from cover to cover: WE WIN ;-)

Holland's ribs are much better today, and like the good wife that I am, I am making him take it slow and easy today.

This morning before we walked out of the RV, we securely closed that cabinet. I said, "I know it's shut tight, but maybe I should just box everything up - just to be on the safe side; I'm getting tired of cleaning up messes back here, and my eyeshadows are getting trashed. There's precious little left." Holland said, "Go ahead and leave it Baby; there's no way that thing can come open, now."

Lord, remind us on challenging days that we are not enemies, so together as 1 we can fight against the enemy.

Headed towards Yellowstone National Park.
A quick passage down Memory Lane … Missoula, Montana. My Uncle Don lived under that giant "M", and we visited him and his family one summer.
Breakfast in Bonner, Montana - where Baseball is the biggest 'happening' in town.
Holland's ribs are on the mend: thank You, Yeshua! Holland suggested we have a "sit-down-restaurant-breakfast"; today is Wednesday - our "Date Day"  Holland insisted on this when we married & I agree it's a necessity.
Holland had 'Meat & Eggs' w-side of pancakes; I had the 'Trucker' Omelet.
Breakfast - we didn't eat again until Suppertime.
Unbelievable … thankfully the bathroom floor was not a mess of rainbow eyeshadows and spilled perfumes again, I boxed all my makeup up - and stashed the mirrored (mirror not broken, thank God) cabinet door in the bunkroom. This is crazy!
That bunkhouse bathroom cabinet is possessed - there's no other answer.
I laughed when these bikers passed us - the plastic tote read, 'Hillbillies Ride'; they looked the part, too. LOL

About and hour and half into the drive, Bleu was letting us know he needed to make a pit stop, so Holland pulled off at a Rest Area in a town called Anaconda; can you believe that a town named itself after a killer snake???

YUK

I saw this HUGE thing on the horizon as we pulled into Anaconda's Rest Area; Smokestack State Park-MT.

The sun-warmed roses smelled wonderful.

Elohim was loving on us today, and we found an RV Park right off the bat that could accommodate us :-)

AND - ta-da! - I finally got past a game board that has had me stumped for years!

Making use of our Membership …
We followed I-90 to Butte, where we are hunkering down tonight.
Last night I finally got through the 'Passage Through China' Jewel Quest Game - it only took 7 years! It is not as easy as you may think ;-)

Tomorrow we head towards Yellowstone :-)

FIND THE JOY

Today is a challenging day.

Holland did not sleep well: his shoulder and ribs ache … and I do not do well when the cranky bickering starts. I am trying to respond in sympathetic gentleness, but it gets hard sometimes :-(

I prayed for a Christian servant's heart.

I love my husband. Yeshua commands us to love one another, always - not just when the good times roll.

Holland is my husband, but he is also my brother in Mashiach.

And he is hurting.

And I am learning patience; last week I was not so generous - and Holland was the patient one. This week Elohim spoke to my Spirit, and I am learning with help from the Ruach HaKo'desh, to bend in this area.

I prayed for an extra measure of grace. For both of us.

So, I got busy doing laundry; we pull stakes here at the Nugget RV Park-MT tomorrow morning, and I like to start our "pull out day" with clean laundry (if we decide to boondock after leaving an RV Park, water is not available).

While loads dried, I took Bleu for a walk around the Park. It's a pleasant day in the upper 70's - a perfect day to find "joy in the moment", and until this afternoon - while walking the grounds - I had no idea the Park was so extensive.

We have enjoyed our stay here, and if we ever come this way again, we will book a site here :-)

Metal work; Mama Bear/cubs & a small moose.
Big, fat, Blueberry bushes.
A Disk Golf Course.
Recreation & Dog Park Station … sorry about the jerkiness; Bleu was pulling on me.
Gopher hole a rattlesnake could be hiding in; I kept Bleu on a very short leash - he was not happy he could not explore that hole ;-)
This RV Park is pretty large - there are 3 different RV sections. It was completely full over the weekend.

AMAZING CREATOR

YOU ARE UNIQUE

SOUTHWESTERN MEATLOAF 'BURGERS~My Own Recipe

We've been married 6 months.

I've only cooked 2 meals in all that time; Holland likes to cook, so he does all the meals.

But yesterday he hurt some ribs on his left side (I don't know how - I didn't see what happened); they were pretty sore this morning, so he laid down for an hour this afternoon … and I got in some "wifey" time :-)

The smoky haze has cleared significantly, and he mentioned before he laid down, that maybe we'll go visit Yellowstone before going down South - and if I'd like to "make that meatloaf you mentioned, we could eat it in sandwiches along the way."

Well, I didn't make a meatloaf per se, but I did improvise by making 'meatloaf burgers': it's just too hot to cook indoors, and I knew Holland would prefer using the outside grill ;-)

While he slept and relaxed those sore ribs, I put out a Prayer Request …

… and whipped up this recipe:

Southwestern Meatloaf Burger's ~My Own Recipe

I have had a hankering for meatloaf sandwiches; so, Holland bought hamburger, eggs, and bread … and I made up these meatloaf 'burgers to slap between 2 pieces of bread, and munch on as we travel along :-)

2-1/2 lbs. Hamburger * 2 Eggs * 1 cup seasoned Croutons * 3 Tbsp. chunky Salsa * 3 Tbsp. Avocado Dip * 1 Red Onion, diced * 1 tsp. Chili Powder * 1 tsp. Garlic Salt * Black Pepper to taste * Bread slices (2 pieces to each patty) * Loose Lettuce leaves * Tomato slices * Pickle slices * Ketchup * Mustard * Mayonnaise

Dump all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

Shape into patties (the size to fit your slices of bread; shape a bit larger to allow for shrinkage): 9 ct. bread-size patties (18 ct. hamburger bun patties). Place in 'fridge until ready to use.

Meatloaf Burger Patties; ready for 'fridge & grilling.
Bread used for {buns} - I made my meat patties to fit these bread slices.

Grill (or fry in a large skillet), to desired doneness. Enjoy!

Cooked 'burgers.
Perfect bread slice size.
Delish, too ;-)

While Holland was cooking the burgers, I engaged in another {wifey} moment, and walked over to the Park Office to book us until Wednesday - that will give the "ouch!" in Holland's ribs a chance to calm down.

While there waiting to be attended, I grabbed an insulating can holder to keep his Red Bull drinks cool … and I grabbed a Lightening Ball that sparks flashing lights when tapped because the open firepit is practically at the feet of our RV's front door steps, and that could get dicey if Bleu decides he needs to do his business in the dead of night - I'd rather he didn't run me across that open hole to twist an ankle. I can grab that ball on our way outside/toss it into the open firepit/avoid a fall by avoiding the flashing ball area.

Items bought at the Resort Store when I paid space rent 'til Wednesday morning.

Today I reveled in {wifey} activities.

I am thankful Elohim has given me this second chance to make a home - and be a "Home" for my new husband.

I enjoy how these two words, "my husband", rolls off my tongue.

I enjoy hearing someone refer to me as "Mrs. Redmill."

I enjoy looking across the room at my husband, and feeling privileged to be so loved by Elohim that He blessed me with Holland.

Wifey Days make this wife happy :-)
