Lucifer is a Liar - he always was a liar, he'll always be a liar.
Holland isn't broken - I am not broken … we're struggling. But we're gonna make it. We may smell like hellfire and brimstone, walking out of the smoke, but Yeshua walks with us like he did with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace in ancient days (Daniel 3:25). Holland & I are struggling, but with prayer and Yeshua's presence: we're only going higher.
Yeshua is with us, no matter the situation~Daniel 3.25
We = US are valuable.
Our lives are valuable.
Our marriage is valuable.
Our families are valuable.
Our friends are valuable.
Our Christian Family is valuable.
Our Faith in Yeshua, is crucial.
We're engaged in a war; a spiritual war: we're fighting for our Life … and end up fighting each other.
The absent Past can be very loud, when Traumatic brain injury (TBI) & Post-traumatic Stress (PTS) ride the coattails of stressors.
Holland had a doctor's appointment in Longview, early this morning - I was supposed to go with him … but overthinking tripped stressful & stress-filled exchanges, and I angrily said he could go alone.
So, he did.
And, I threw a load of laundry into the wash machine; and started supper as soon as he left:

While the slow cooker heated up, I thought I'd sweep the floors - then get busy giving the house a good, brisk, cleaning: you women know what I'm talking about. Being peeved with your husband can get every nook and cranny thoroughly cleaned 😉
However, when I entered the upper bedroom, I immediately saw water on the floor. That should not be there! How long had it been there? How much damage had occurred?
This was very concerning.
I jetted a text off to my angry neanderthal.

He must have cooled off during the 2 hour drive, because he answered pretty speedily … there was no drawn out phone tagging going on:

Wicked the water up with a towel …
Holland's bathroom floor & under sink cabinet was dry, thank the Lord.
No more water. Anywhere.
By the time he made his Dr. appt., picked up his prescriptions, visited, & got back home; both of us had cooled down.
We know what the issues are - we know why they happen.
We're actively working on dousing the flames as soon as they ignite; we know we need divine help to squelch the wildfires.
The men in Holland's life are damaged men - this has led to damage on Holland's life on many levels.
Romans 8:37
We are doing our best to reroute situations and redirected circumstances.
We also know that we are in a spiritual battle.
The Past chaos (his & mine) always intrudes, uninvited, into our otherwise peaceful Life.
And we know what to do: Holland is going to get back into the Word, and I'm going to be meeting with my ladies in Rosburg, Thursdays - starting this coming Thursday.
Apologies were given and accepted; warmth & sunshine would be appreciated, too. But, it looks like Mr. Sun, and summer weather is going to skip 2025 - we haven't found it anywhere we've pitched tent pegs, this year 😕
