FARMER'S MARKET FRIDAY; Coalinga-CA

September 3rd: Today was Farmer's Market day in Huron-CA.

Today is also Shabbat Eve; so, I took some extra time this afternoon, with the way I will present myself to the world.

'Cream Light' for browline.
Color's #4 & #5 Hard Candy Cover Girl Eyeshadows.
Lt. Brown' Brow Gel; 'Glam Brown' Mascara, 'Born w-It' Lipstick, & 'Coral Ember' liquid blush.
Sparkly makeup, & wearing the shirt Linda gifted to me, in May.

When I came back into the livingroom, Holland said, "Oh, you dressed up. You look nice." I smiled. I did look nice - I didn't get too fancy, but I did look nice. I said, "Thanks; today is Friday, and I used to spend extra time on presentation because today is Elohim's Day to be honored - He sees me, even if no one else would; ministering angels will be visiting - I want to get back to welcoming them as heavenly emissaries. That includes presentation; speaking of … I like the way my gray hair has come in - the glittery strands looks like a deliberate highlighting; and the graying is a different shade than expected. It's actually kinda pretty." And Holland has noticed it too, saying, "I like it. It's not really gray though - it's a blend of strange coloring; but I like it. How about we go for a drive before getting to Huron?" Yes, please 😘 🕊️

The drive as sunny warm, and convo was pleasant.

I was able to find and purchase at the outdoor market, what we went for  - and, the first thing I saw was purslane! Purslane is like a vitaminbomb & mineral powerhouse. I said, "Holland! This is what I was talking about the other day: this stuff is a superfood green. I'm gonna get 2 bunches - you're gonna love the way it makes your body feel."

He wasn't convinced 🤔; but he will be 👍

I had also bought a pound of fresh pulled peanuts at the Huron outdoor market; they were washed & set to dry at home - and tomorrow, I'm going to air-fry them until they are crisped. This is a new experience, so I will go to bed tonight, with them drying out on the counter … and rise with a prayer that this experience will be a satisfactory one 🤞

Then, on the way home from Huron, we passed a roadside vendor … and bought 5 huge pomegranates; I like them & have been buying them for decades, but I 've never seen them this size. Couldn't beat the price, either: 5 for $5

Something new~fresh, raw peanuts washed & set to drying; for baking tomorrow.
These things are h.u.g.e!

After storing my Farmer's Market purchases, I got back to working on myself. I am deliberately steering myself into purposeful and life-affirming activities:

Practicing self-care measures , tonight …

Today has been a good Day 😊🕊️
