BELLISSIMO~Self-Care; Coalinga-CA

Despite February's fickleness that led to the rainy atmosphere here, today was a beautiful Day - nothing extraordinary took place … but, it was still a beautiful Day.

This quote got me thinking of the guitar sound in this song …
Marty Robbins - 1961 'Don't Worry'

Rain, rain, & more rain to come …

Independence was occasionally rocked by a cross wind now and then while spurts of plentiful raindrops tap danced their way across her rooftop 💧

We enjoyed a laid back attitude in a cozy atmosphere 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

I enjoyed a relaxing workout.

The safety of the Darebee Dumbbells Upperbody Workout for a 69-year-old woman depends on her individual fitness level, health conditions, and the specific workout routine. It is generally safe for most individuals to perform upper body workouts, but it is crucial to listen to your body and adjust the intensity and duration as neededFor a 69-year-old woman, it is recommended to start with lighter weights and gradually increase them to avoid injury: additionally, incorporating warm-up exercises, proper form, and adequate rest between sets can help prevent fatigue and soreness. Today, I used my 5-lb. dumbbells, for all 3 sets.

I also used my stepper.

Muscles Worked
Stepper = x3 weeklyat least 10-15 mins.

Lunch was the nachos from yesterday's Tacos Y Mariscos Sergio Taqueria, in Coalinga: fragrant, tasty corn tortilla's, refried beans, & a generous serving of chipped beef … I grated a chunk of cheddar cheese & a mozzarella cheese stick - and spread that on top of each serving; popped the bowls in the microwave for about 1 minute. YUM!

And I worked a couple rows on the lengthening afghan I'm designing. It's taking quite a bit longer to finish than anticipated, but it's coming along fine:

Nearly at the halfway point …

Everything today had the stamp of "BELLISSIMO!" on it 😉
