Tonight is the last night of Rosh Hashanah (pronounced~rosh hash-sha- na'), and so in ending I say: “Gemar chatimah tovah” (pronounced~gee-mahr hawk-ee'-mah doh-vah') = “A good inscription and sealing in the Book of Life” & "Shanah Tovah!" (pronounced~shan-nah' toe-vah') = “A good and sweet year.”
May this Rosh Hashanah be the beginning of a year filled with God’s blessings, deeper faith, stronger community, and growing anticipation for the day when the final trumpet will sound and our Messiah will return.
