When Holland got up, he went to the main Office here, to see if we could continue renting this spot through the Winter months (and to see if they had a gym: they don't); this spot has already been booked through the Winter months … and the spaces they have available are really just too tight for us.
So, Holland went online to check another RV Resort we have been interested in.
While he was doing that, I was checking my FB Page messages - and was happy to see one from Gigi: we caught up on our lives (and we briefly touched on a situation we are both curious about, too); and I was happy to see that she has found a place to indulge in doing what she likes to do :-)
After we finished our morning coffees, we drove across town to check out the Del Pueblo RV Resort with a hope that we could find a space to slide into when our space rent here is up, Tuesday morning: this Resort prospect really checks all the boxes, and it was our 1st choice to begin with.
Enroute, we watched military aircraft going through training paces … and watched people pulling over to the opposite highway shoulders to take pictures of the aircrafts in action.
When we arrived at Del Pueblo, we drove around the Resort (liking what we were seeing); met some friendly people who gave us friendly info … then Holland went into the Main Office and put a deposit on a 3-month rent lease.
This Resort has e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. at hand, that interests us :-)
On our way home, we passed a gun & ammo store - Holland liked seeing that; and I'm sure he'll be able to get a handle on a shooting range by asking questions, here ;-)
For Supper, Holland made a tasty meal; he had intended to make simple hamburgers, but I'm glad he changed his mind ;-)
The Day has been great from start to finish - an enjoyable Sabbath Rest.
