BLOOD IN OUR STREETS & GUNS IN CHURCH~MPO Based on Godly Teaching

This is just WRONG!

And … another reason WHY I stay away from "church": when the "church" starts resembling - and teaching - the ways of the world, there is no place for Yeshua & His healing presence.

That [pastors] are encouraging the killing of violent rioters … and that guns are pulled in churches, is a sad reality: but, we were warned these days would come. We were also told of how to face them. Fear & the pulling of guns with the focused intent of killing, was NOT in the message.

Elohim was pretty SPECIFIC when He commanded "Thou shalt not kill."

Yeshua was pretty CLEAR when He emphasized PEACE over violence.

The disciples were pretty ADAMANT that Elohim & Yeshua were TO BE the STANDARD EXAMPLES of Christianity.

The Disciples went to their deaths, preaching & exampling peace over violence.

The Early Church set their thoughts, and their actions, on following what Yeshua taught, lived & practiced: can we today, do less?

"Those who seek to save their lives will lose their lives - and those who lose their lives, will save their lives": Matthew 16:25, Mark 8:35, and Luke 9:24

For a true Christian, a gun is not security … Christ is.

Fear of losing one's life is NOT a hallmark of Christianity.

Killing out of fear, is NOT Godly behavior.

Love for this life & this world is NOT the aim of a Christian, for we know that real Life is to live for Christ, & we know that this world is not our home - our spirit longs to be with Christ: to see Him as He is, where He dwells; "we know that to be absent from this body, is to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8) - THIS is WHAT a Christian should be concerned about when faced with immanent threat of life.

I don't know how we got so far afield … to embrace a death mentality society.

People killing themselves.

Kids killing parents.

Parents-to-be killing their babies.

Politicians plotting the killing of opponents.

Politicians encouraging people to seek out their imagined enemies and kill them - politically sanctioning hit lists to protect criminals. WTH

People killing each other in the streets OF AMERICA! for Pete's sake.

Churches hiring "security experts" to teach [the flock] how to kill intruders to protect themselves: placing personal concerns above the Gospel message … THIS is really FAR AFIELD.

Where did the love go?????

WHY are people so angry ALL THE TIME, over e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g?
