This legislation, introduced by Congressman Tim Burchett, requires the Department of State to develop and implement a strategy to discourage foreign countries and NGOs from providing financial or material support to the Taliban. The bill also mandates reports on U.S.-funded aid programs in Afghanistan, including how the State Department prevents the Taliban from accessing cash assistance.

The bill's passage comes in response to concerns that U.S. aid, including cash shipments to Afghanistan, may be diverted to the Taliban. The bill specifically targets the Taliban's access to funds and requires the State Department to report on countries and organizations providing support to the Taliban. It also calls for a report on the Afghan Fund, including Taliban influence over Da Afghanistan Bank.

The bill now moves to the Senate for consideration. If passed by the Senate and signed into law, it would significantly impact how the U.S. provides aid to Afghanistan and could potentially lead to sanctions against those who support the Taliban.

TYING UP LOOSE ENDS; Ocean Park-WA

Since we came back to WA State, Holland has been tending to things that need to be done with Betsy, & Independence, before we hit the road again. He only has a few more loose ends to tie up 👌

… and I posted a FB prayer petition.

I don't need to replace my glasses this year, praise the Lord 👏 … but I do need to have a tooth taken care of; and I started that process this afternoon 👍

I would normally go to the dentist I have been seeing for the past 3 decades - but, Kelso is a good 2 hours away: and Seaview is mere minutes down the peninsula highway. So, I chose to visit a new dentist 🤞, this afternoon.

Willapa Dental is listed online at #205 12th St S, Long Beach, WA - but it's actually closer to Seaview than Long Beach.

The dentist & his staff are very friendly 🤝😊

I got relatively good news concerning the tooth that concerns me: it does need attention, but there is a good chance it can be satisfactorily salvaged 😁 without a pricey cap that will eventually fall off … and without months of in-&-out office visits 👏

I have a scheduled appointment on the 22nd, to get that loose end tied up.

Exiting the dental building, and climbing into Betsy, Holland pointed across the street and said, "Look at that interesting VW Camper: I've never seen anything like it, before." We both thought it was pretty cool, as well as interesting; so, we got closer to it for a picture - and I researched it online when we got home 🧐💻

What I learned while tying up that loose end, was interesting:

This very interesting thing was featured on-line: on Redditt. This 1976 VW Jurgens Autovilla, was made in South Africa & imported to America in 1978 - it is believed to be the only 1 of it's kind in the USA. And here it is, in Seaview-WA where we got a first hand look at the only 1-of-a-kind traveling around America. WOW

Then, I thanked my friends who had prayed me through my dental visit (I really hate dental visits, but I'm learning to relax while in the torture chair - prayer definitely helps) ❤️🙏😘

And I wrapped up the evening by relaxing while watching a black & white noir movie - and continuing my knitting project: I should have it completed in a few days.

My knitting WIP project is getting so long, it wanted to drag the floor; so I placed the edge in a large Lawn Bag to keep it clean & corralled.

Slowly but surely, things are getting done ✅ and loose ends are being tied up.

FOCUS ON THE BLESSEDNESS; Ocean Park-WA

Yesterday was my grandson's 11th BD - the last time we saw each other was 5 years ago, today. Because of 1 person's crazy behavior, lives were shattered and dreams went up in smoke.

In years past, I would always cry this time of year: I MISS Azariah … but this year, Holland is in my life - and all the missingness, though still there, is not so painful. And bless his heart, Holland said, "Well, maybe when he gets older he'll look you up. He'll remember the good times with his Grandma, and he'll come looking for you."

My husband is more optimistic than I am concerning this situation.

There is a lot of assumption anger, still simmering in that arena. There is a lot of misplaced bitterness, still harbored in that arena. The bridge that could have led to healing, was spectacularly set ablaze: and the gleeful flamethrower flat out told me that it would never be rebuilt.

When I called to talk to little handsome … she would angrily shut the phone call down.

When I asked for a school picture - the request was denied.

Unwarranted & unjustified hatred towards me shuts out any contact between me & my grandchildren.

But I know I will not be crying anymore - and that is in a large part, due to Elohim, Yeshua, & my new husband's presence in my Life.

Anyone looking (who has no clue at all about what I've lived through before Bob, with Bob, & after Bob) would only see the torn fabric of a messy life. BUT, I KNOW I have a blessed Life despite the messy bits.

I've overcome a LOT.

I've grown in ways I wasn't even aware I needed to grow.

I've come to fully understand "loving from a distance" when it comes to toxic familial relationships.

I learned that it's okay to be ME; without apology.

I learned to embrace - and even at times, enjoy, a solo lobo Life between Bob's absence & Holland's arrival.

My husband doesn't know the full story; but he tries to cheer me up any way he can.

SUNDAY DRIVE EXPLORATION~Black Lake, Ilwaco-WA

Last night Holland suggested a Sunday drive … and this morning, David called to say he was in Naselle-WA & on his way to his beach place, in Long Beach-WA.

So - we enjoyed a nice Sunday drive, did a little exploration, and spent time with a friend before coming back home to Ocean Park-WA.

First off, we had wanted to spend some time watching waves in Seaview; but the ocean wind was blowing briskly across the beach, kicking dusty sandy grit into the atmosphere … and causing creepy appearances on the beach that looked like ghostly fingers inching forward. It was weirdly unsettling as I watched the shifting sand out the passenger window: I was glad when Holland turned around & got us out of there.

Oddities & Curiosities … between Long Beach & Seaview-WA

Big gusts of sand was airborne this afternoon, as we pulled up at the Seaview Beach Access-WA

There was so much airborne sand, that Beard's Hallow was barely visible.

Then, we drove into Ilwaco, and made a loop around the marina:

On the way back to Ocean Park, I pointed out what looked like a small fishing Park across the Black Lake water; and asked Holland if we could try to find a way to get there. We tried 2 side roads, but they dead-ended … so, when I saw a guy dinking around with his car, I said, "Let's pull over there, and I'll ask if he knows what that place is … and how we could get there." So, that's what we did.

He did know - and we followed his directions down Sandridge Road, to get there.

This is the road we need to get where I want to go …

The Lake's edge lapped right up to the gravel road edge …

Curiosity satiated.

Well … I got here, & now I 'know'. LOL

Hmm - a walking Trail - and … of course we drove in & parked; but Betsy was purring the whole time, and we didn't stay long.

It was a very peaceful, pretty, Sunday country drive.

After that little exploration, we drove to David's place; we enjoyed a lengthy chatty visit … and came home with canned fish & canned clams 😊: these we tucked away for our upcoming Road Gypsy forays.

And I made up a couple bacon & cheese Breakfast Burrito's to put in the freezer for satisfying and healthy quick grabs 👌

IN california, ILLEGALS are running the government offices, as well as civil offices. And they are hiding out on American Indian Reservations since the 1970's.

And we have foreign terrorist sympathizers sitting in our Congress … obama managed to make it all the way to the White House just by flashing the Race Card and running on sexual perversion! He was not qualified. He is NOT an American Citizen (despite where he he has lived & despite his mother's citizenship: he IS a kenyan prince). NO FORIEGN DIGNITARIES should govern America - THAT is IN our American Constitution, which obama tried to a abolish during al THREE of his black brotherhood coup reigns of terror.

Chinatowns, muslim enclaves, and FOREIGN (this includes mechico) governments SHOULD NOT BE FUNCTIONING IN America 🤬

Saturday, June 29, 2019: Wherever you stand, please take the time to read this; it ought to scare the beejeebers out of you!

We know Dick Lamm as Governor of Colorado .. In that context his thoughts are particularly poignant. Last week there was an immigration overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, filled to capacity by many of America's finest minds and leaders. A brilliant college professor by the name of Victor Davis Hanson talked about his latest book, 'Mexifornia,' explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal was destroying the entire state of California. He said it would march across the country until it destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.

Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to destroy America.

The audience sat spellbound as he described eight methods for the destruction of the United States. He said, 'If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall and that 'An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.''

'Here is how they do it,' Lamm said: 'First, to destroy America, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country ... History shows that no nation can survive the tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a curse for a society to be bilingual. The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way: 'The histories of bilingual and bicultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy.' Canada , Belgium , Malaysia , and Lebanon all face crises of national existence in which minorities press for autonomy , if not independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided. Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces difficulties with Basques, Bretons, Corsicans and Muslims.'

Lamm went on: 'Second, to destroy America, invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their culture. Make it an article of belief that all cultures are equal; that there are no cultural differences. Make it an article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.

'Third, we could make the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: 'The apparent success of our own multi-ethnic and multicultural experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once dictated ethnocentricy and what it meant to be an American, we are left with only tolerance and pluralism to hold us together.' Lamm said, 'I would encourage all immigrants to keep their own language and culture. I would replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is important to ensure that we have various cultural subgroups living in America enforcing their differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing their similarities.'

'Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic group the least educated. I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and antagonistic to our population. I would have this second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high school.

'My fifth point for destroying America would be to get big foundations and business to give these efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic identity, and I would establish the cult of 'Victimology ...' I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority. I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority.'

'My sixth plan for America's downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties. I would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress differences rather than similarities. Diverse people worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other - that is, when they are not killing each other. A diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most historical precept. People undervalue the unity it takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to the same race; they possessed a common language and literature; and they worshiped the same gods. All Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common enemy, Persia, threatened their liberty. Yet all these bonds were not strong enough to overcome two factors: local patriotism and geographical conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece fell. 'E. Pluribus Unum' -- From many, one. In that historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the 'pluribus' instead of the 'Unum,' we will 'Balkanize' America as surely as Kosovo.'

'Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits. Make it taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate. Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country, having established multi-cultum, having the large foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I would next make it impossible to enforce our immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That because immigration has been good for America , it must always be good. I would make every individual immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact of millions of them.'

In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm wiped his brow. Profound silence followed. Finally he said, 'Lastly, I would censor Victor Davis Hanson's book 'Mexifornia.' His book is dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America. If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't read that book.'

There was no applause. A chilling fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every attendee at the conference. Every American in that room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet pervasively across the United States today. Discussion is being suppressed. Over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness. Even barbaric cultures that practice female genital mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.' American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as corporations create a Third World in America Take note of California and other states. To date, ten million illegal aliens and growing fast. It is reminiscent of George Orwell's book '1984..' In that story, three slogans are engraved in the Ministry of Truth building: 'War is peace,' 'Freedom is slavery,' and 'Ignorance is strength.'

Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on everyone at the conference that our nation and the future of this great democracy is deeply in trouble and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigration monster stopped within three years, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy everything in its path, especially The American Dream.

My husband likes burritos; so, this afternoon I made up some breakfast egg & bacon burrito's to put in the freezer for quick grabs, and tasty eats to microwave 😊

The way I made my burrito's takes time … but good things usually do; and hearing my husband's praise, was definitely worth it 👌 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

I didn't note the clock 🤔 as I worked … but Holland said it took me about 2 hours from start to finish.

VAL'S HUNGRY JACK BREAKFAST BURRITOS Recipe  ~makes 8

1 box Hungry Jack Hashbrown Potatoes * 2 c. Hot Water * 5 Shiitake Mushrooms * 1 med. Yellow Sweet Onion * 1/2 Green Bell Pepper * 1 mini Red Sweet Pepper * 1 mini Yellow Sweet Pepper * 10 sliced COOKED Bacon * 1-1/2 c. Cheddar Cheese, grated * 8 large Flour Tortillas * 8 eggs * 1 lrg. Pyrex Measuring Cup with pouring spout * 1 Lrg. Skillet with lid * 1 sm. Skillet * Cooking Spray * 1 med. Mixing Bowl * 2 sm. bowls * 2 Dinner Plates

1) Prepare the dehydrated Hashbrown potatoes as directed on the box; set aside.

Boxed Hashbrowns.

2) Cut onion into 3rd's - half those pieces, and slice thinly cross grain; place in the mixing bowl.

Cut mushroom caps in half & slice into julienne strips; place in the mixing bowl.

Slice mushrooms …

Cut peppers in half; seed, & slice into julienne strips; place in the mixing bow … stir to blend pretty evenly.

Julienned Sweet Peppers.

3) Spray large skillet with cooking spray. Put onions, mushrooms, and peppers into into the skillet - cook on low heat until veggies are soft to the bite.

Mushroom, Onion & Peppers medley.

Wipe mixing bowl clean, and set aside.

4) Slice bacon into julienne strips; place in small bowl.

Pre-cooked, julienned Bacon.

When veggies are soft, add bacon to the skillet, place lid over all and simmer until bacon is heated through: remove from heat and place mushroom, veggie, bacon mixture in the mixing bowl.

Add bacon to mushroom, onion & pepper medley; stir to blend.

5) Wipe skillet clean, and spray with cooking spray. Drain any liquid off Hashbrowns - add to skillet and sprinkle with salt & pepper. Cook for 7 minutes, turning frequently to keep from burning.

Cook Hashbrowns; season with salt & pepper.

When Hashbrowns are done to satisfaction, remove from skillet onto a dinner plate - set aside.

6) Break 1 egg onto a small bowl & whisk until frothy.

Spray small skillet with cooking spray and add whisked egg - cook over low heat until set … then carefully lift and flip over to cook other side.

Make 8 individual cheese omelets …

Sprinkle half the set egg facing, with some cheese; turn half the set egg over to envelop the cheese and cook a few seconds; then flip and cook a few seconds more.

7) Place 1 tortilla on the countertop; place a little under 1/4 cup of the Hashbrowns on the tortilla, and top with: cheese omelet, mushroom-veggie-bacon mixture … roll tortilla to make a burrito.

Layer on tortilla; Hashbrowns, omelet, mushroom-onion-pepper medley …

8) Repeat the burrito process with EACH of the remaining eggs to make 7 more individual cheese omelets - enfolding in 7 more tortilla's … following the Hashbrown, omelet, mushroom-veggie-bacon mixture layering.
