SEPTEMBER THRU THE YEARS; Castle Rock-WA

September has always been a  pivotal month in my evolving Life.

I fell in love the first time in September 1966.

I began my first newlywed life in September of 1975.

Life took root in me, in September of 1975.

I learned the hard part of love is letting go, in September of 2018.

I relived widow memories every September from 2018 to 2022.

September 2021 was the year Holland & I became friends.

By September of 2022, Holland was openly flirting; he had been waiting decades for me to show up in his life … Elohim was emboldening him,  and he was making his big move ;-)

When September of 2023 rolled around, Holland & I were newlyweds living a road gypsy life, traveling from coast to coast … and enjoying beautiful desert sunrises & sunsets.

My heart took a serious beating the September of 2018; and Elohim - in His infinite wisdom, placed Holland in my Life in 2021: directly in my footpath. My limping heart was kick-started and life once again, caught spark … and Life has been rolling along at full throttle, ever since ;-)

We are currently in Castle Rock-WA, busily shifting our things from storage (where they've were kept for 3 months while repairs were made) back into Independence (we have her back, and we are getting road-ready).

It's good to have our home back - and to have our things around us, again: coffee & coffee maker; clothes; books; cooking pans & utensils; our bed instead of the lumpy motel bed … ect.

When I put my head on the pillow the first night we got her back, my body sighed a happy simple hello ;-)

The other day we saw honey for sale along an I-5 roadside … so, we pulled over and bought some; we both like honey.

We had intended to only buy 1 quart, but everything on display sounded so yummy - and the fella was friendly; so we bought five different flavors.

A simple hello :-)

This afternoon, I was excited to see more treasures being hauled home - and I smiled a simple hello as I put them in Betsy's cab, with me.

YES! Bible Study Tools coming home with me, today ;-)

And Holland treated me to a mexican meal that we brought home to enjoy - he loves his mexican foods ;-)

After Supper, I unpacked more boxes and stashed things in their places. I think one more storage haul should be the end of unpacking.

Then, I got back to work on the tiny preemie sacque gown I am knitting up - I'm glad to have my needles, hooks, pattern books, and totes of yarn in-house again …

And I am thankful that my hands are still capable of using small size needles to whip up these tiny garments for the brave hearts saying a simple hello for their first meeting outside mama's womb :-)

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects several rights, including: 

Freedom of religion: Congress can't make laws that establish a religion or prohibit its practice.

Freedom of speech: The government can't limit free speech. 

Freedom of the press: The press is protected to promote free speech and the public's interest in information. 

Freedom of assembly: People have the right to peacefully assemble. 

Right to petition: People have the right to petition the government to address grievances.

We "The People" have seen over the past 8 years that the obama's & their obamanite DC puppets are intent of doing away with the American Constitution & American Way of Life  … and rhino's like the bush & cheney politicians are supporting a re-write to erase Christianity & strip Christians of any- and all- American Rights as drafted in the original version of the USA Constitution.

DC needs to be purged of Anti-American sentiments - and those that take a knee to anything foreign to the foundation America was founded on.

SOLID FRIENDS; Castle Rock-WA

I still don't know what's going to happen, but I do know I need steady Friends in my Life going forward. My Life is complicated with Mr. Complication … and I've lost a few friends this past year due to that. So, anyone on this Page who feels the need to bolt, has my understanding and "thank you's" for being with me until now.

This marriage is challenging - but it is not abusive (I know several of you will disagree): I know what abusive marriages are because my mother had one, and my sister Ramona had one; my marriage is nothing like those 2 were. Holland does not step outside of our marriage vows; and he never will. Holland does not beat me with his fists, or kick me with his boots, or throw furniture at me - and he'll never put me in a hospital with broken bones. Holland does not belittle me … or shame me in any way, in public. Holland does not subjugate me (he is, admittedly, very macho - but he is not cruel).

Holland is in a lot of physical pain; and unless Yeshua heals him, there is no relief - doctors aren't helpful, and pain meds do not truly work. Holland is also in a lot of emotional pain; childhood abandonment that forced him to join a man's workforce when he was 14 years old, and a father's refusal (as well as vicious and unsupported familial gossip) to acknowledge him and his siblings that caused (and still causes) him to suffer extreme rejection issues. The upheavals of both physical and emotional pain is intense, and there is occasional verbal fallout from that pain.

I have my own physical and emotional issues, too.

We both ride the unstable currents of trauma-induced emotions. Holland reined his current's in by self-medicating and withdrawing from the public masses. I reined mine in by a strict enforcement of a peaceful home environment. Both of our reigning in's have been tinkered with this past year and a half; self-medication and peaceful home environment have been messed with by spousal interferences as we try to make this marriage chart a smooth course that will satisfy both of us.

Elohim has given us a hard row to hoe, and sometimes when the heat is on, we want to chuck the whole thing; but when the dust settles we know we want to work the landscape together.

Strong Friends are sorely needed - and required.

I've lost a few friends this past year due to continual heatwaves that have wilted the green on the vine. So, anyone on this Page who feels the need to bolt, has my understanding.

It's Friday, my Island of Rest - and right on cue, Holland started in on me :-(

The augment this morning was about Sturgis; I was unpacking a wardrobe box, when I pulled out his leather jacket … he immediately went into a spiel about how he got it from a guy, "a christian guy" who was at Sturgis". Now, he knows these are fighting words (to mix christianity with the worldly bullshit that goes on at Sturgis gatherings); but he kept flapping his yap, treating me like I'm a stupid woman who doesn't understand anything at all about Sturgis. His words snapped at me before he left this morning was, "It's not what you think: people go there to buy or trade motorcycles - there is no nudity, there."

Surely he jests … and I was not born yesterday.

I was sensing a LOT of bill clinton attitude in his remark.

Sturgis is a hedonistic gathering, under the guise of "motorcycle dealership": while it is true that it is a motorcycle gathering … with that comes the wild drinking, prostitution, and drug dealing, that comes with motorcycle gangs that gather there to share their motorcycle "knowledge", their gang activity, their women - and to drink themselves stupid while making drug deals. THAT IS what Sturgis is ALL ABOUT.

And Holland's uncles and cousins never took their wives with them on their week long Sturgis orgies: there is a reason for that. Men wanting to act like bachelor's at a week-long-kegger and drug infused orgy, do not want wives tagging along.

He treats me like I am a stupid Christian woman, who has been sheltered all my life, and don't know what I am talking about when I say:  "Christians and Sturgis do NOT mix - and Christians have no business going there: they can buy a motorcycle at reputable local motorcycle shops, IF that is their claim to being at Sturgis - which, I am sure is NOT the real reason they are there, at Sturgis. Witnessing for Christ? Are you serious? WHAT kind of witness do you suppose is shown when a married man claiming to be a christian drinks himself stupid and begins acting like a fool with naked 20-year old's (thinking Elohim is blind, when he's away from home), while his 40-year old wife sits at home with his children - possibly a daughter the same age as the one he's got his arm draped around at Sturgis? I can guarantee that the only witness he is showing is not one of righteous behavior; and no one is fooled - not even himself. He bites his wife's head off, back at home, because he is consumed with guilt for what he has done. And you are biting my head off now, because you know what I'm saying is truth."

There is not a man alive that can withstand looking at boobs and booty when it's smack dab in the face; is he seriously trying to convince me that nudity was not present - and that the Redmill men, who consistently step out of line when it comes to the call of the flesh … "did not see, or look"???

I have mentioned many times before over the years on my Blogs, on my FB Page, and to Holland, that my first husband and I had a biker friend that lived with us for 2 years. Dave had been in a serious motorcycle wreck in Idaho, where he had surgery to place a steel plate over the top of his skull, and surgery to repair his left tibia area so gangrene didn't set in: he needed someplace to heal, so we welcomed him into our home. He had ridden with the Hell's Angels, the Gypsy Jokers, ect.; he had spent summers at Sturgis gatherings (and Holland and his family members probably at some point, crossed paths with Dave). Dave had spent time in prisons, and had the tat's to prove it. While he lived with us, he became a fast friend; respecting our Faith, and our home environment. He became a lifelong friend to us, and I trusted him 100% with our children while they were growing up, and granddaughter too, when she came along. My first husband Bob, knew a few Gypsy Joker riders in the later 1960's and mid-1970's. My own background is filled with motorcycles - I rode them, and drove them, until our daughter came into the picture. I am not ignorant of motorcycles or motorcycling life. When Dave died in 2014, he died a Christian - he said the time he spent with us in our home living the Christian Lifestyle, changed his outlook and turned his life around - he had started attending a church in Longbeach-WA, when he moved there in the late 1980's. He never rode his Harley again to Sturgis.

Holland and his family members think Sturgis is mecca (he was at his brother's house yesterday - and this is August; I'm sure Sturgis was discussed), and they don't feel that a person claiming Christianity has to change their life around - that is why Holland scraps with me every chance he gets; the devil he entertains rises up in him and he can't help himself from nitpicking me about my Faith (100% sold-out Christianity: real Christianity, not the Redmill brand) - which leads to arguing; and I'm getting better at not raising to the bait. I know he's being mean-spirited, and I also know that Elohim is dealing with him about things he doesn't want to acknowledge, or change yet.

So, while he was gone, cooling his temper down … I put on some happy Shabbat music, and continue to wait on Elohim to bring forth His Plan for our Life together.

I saw an instrument in this video that I'd never seen before, so I researched it, and found that it is called a hurdy-gurdy … I remember Donovan, a 1960's musician singing about a hurdy-gurdy man :-)
