TRUTH

I am flashy … and I am on the go all the time. I basically {flash} for myself (I like color in my world); and I get bored easily, so I need to move and be busy.

I can spend hours chit-chatting over coffee at a kitchen table with lifetime friends, when the call comes to "come on over!"

And I do have (and have had for decades) Blogs where I share bits and pieces of myself (selectively). I may say I share 'anything and everything' … but there are pieces of  my life NO ONE GETS TO PEEK INTO except Elohim. Even my husband and children don't get a peek at those bits.

People who don't know {me}, tend to think I am an extrovert.

BUT

In reality I'm an introvert.

I only go places alone; or spend time with people I've known all my life. People who understand my silence, and respect my space.

I've made friends with loneliness - even surrounded by family (aka husband and dog) and friends. I never truly {open up} to anyone; and that can be hard on people wanting all of me.

I mostly visit with new friends in their spaces, because it's easier to get up and come home after 30 minutes … than it is to be rude and watch the clock, making it obvious it is time for them to "go home, now". It's not that they bore me, irritate me, or annoy me - I just start feeling antsy: my social energy is being depleted and I need alone time to recharge. It burns a lot of energy to let so much out, while keeping so much in.

I'm complicated.

Only truly special people will understand ME.

YOU NEVER KNOW ...

I've always been "too much" for most people.

I grew up with uncertainty; I was a military brat.

You never {know} - so, I always showed, and told my feelings straight up and straight forward.

Because you never {know}.

I have a different opinion of when Christ was born, but December 25th has been the centuries' old tradition to celebrate, so I don't quibble with people who hold to this date.

THAT YESHUA HA'MASHIACH (Jesus the Messiah) WAS SENT TO EARTH is all that matters to me - and to my way of thinking, there is a reason the Date was not mentioned in Scripture: people tend to idolize personhoods, dates, places, things, relations, ect.; and being idolized was NOT Elohim's, nor Yeshua's, intention.

Yeshua's entire mission on Earth, when He walked among us as a man, was to example Elohim's relationship with mankind (which also includes womankind ;-)) in it's purest sense … and to show Himself to be the "perfect Lamb" - spotless and pure in every way - fit for the salvation sacrifice. People tend to forget that when they get caught up in the glitz of christmas blitz.

Personally, I celebrate Yeshua's arrival, life, death, and resurrection every day of the year; all that the month of December means to me is that I was born on the 29th, and I get another year older 😉

And, I admit, I do like the warm and fuzzy feeling that comes when this time of year rolls around.

PEACE & CONTENTMENT~SHABBAT~Yuma-AZ

It has been a wet and windy day here, in Yuma-AZ; thunderstorms and flashes of lightning livened things up, too ;-)

We enjoyed quiet family time throughout the Day.

Both of us shared the kitchen, and cooked supper tonight :-)

I did laundry, watched vintage Shelley Winters movies, and finished 2 Angel Baby Blankets.

Today was a good day to stay indoors, enjoying peaceful blessings of a restful Shabbat.

Our neighbor from Spokane-WA looks peeved with current weather. They came here to enjoy the "sunniest State in America" … and it's been cold, wet, windy, and today we got hail. They are definitely not happy campers.

Went to sleep last night, nestled all snug in the bed … and woke up, with the sound of raindrops dancing in our heads, this morning 😉

We haven't heard the sound of steady rain (just a quick 5-minute-splattering ONCE) since leaving WA, months ago. I lay there for a while this morning, just listening and smiling, before Bleu's "Get up now, MOM!" humphing, finally got me up and after a cup of morning joy juice 😊

Holland has been watching the news, and says LA got 5-inches of rain dropped on them, and a freak winter storm 😳 brought flooding to Florida: a drive to Texas is in our near future, with Florida thrown in, too - so, while I do like the sound of raindrops dancing across the roof, and it's raining steadily here (LA's storm cloud is passing overhead): I don't mind - just as long as it's gone before we pull stakes and head down the highway 🙏

While my husband slept the early morning hours away (my night owl didn't get to bed until 3 AM), Bleu and I listened to the rain … and I worked on some Angel Baby Blankets, which I hope to get finished and shipped out before we leave here for Texas ;-)
